Be Aware! I-5 Work in Portland Could Cause Delays

(PORTLAND, Ore. ) - ODOT crews will repair ruts in the pavement Interstate 5 in Southwest Portland at night starting Sunday through Wednesday, June 25 from 9:00 p.m. each night to 5:00 a.m. the following morning.

This work requires closing the right and center lanes of I-5.

Here is what to expect:

Sunday, Monday and Tuesday night northbound I-5 paving:

Crews will close the right and center lanes I-5 northbound from Oregon Highway 99W to Spring Garden Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Pavement repairs requires closing the Southwest Huber Street on-ramp and the Taylors Ferry off-ramp.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night southbound I-5 paving:

Crews will close the right and center lanes of I-5 southbound from Southwest Barbur Boulevard to Southwest Capitol Highway. Pavement repairs requires closing the Southwest Capitol Highway off-ramp.

Work will only take place in one direction at a time.

Please be alert to crews on the roadway and slow down in work zones.

The repair schedule can change based upon weather and unexpected site conditions.
