(SALEM, Ore.) - SofTouch™ Dental announced their new partnership today with Andrew Abdelnour, DMD. Dr. Abdelnour joins SofTouch™ Dental after practicing in McMinnville and Sisters during the last nine years. To celerate the new partnership between SofTouch™ Dental and Dr. Abdelnour, they are now accepting $20 donations on behalf of the Salem Boys & Girls Club. In exchange, new patients will receive a free initial dental exam, to include digital x-rays, from Dr. Abdelnour. This special, joint effort between Abdelnour/SofTouch™ and the Boys & Girls Club starts on June 8th and continues through June 30, 2011, at Dr. Abdelnour’s and SofTouch™ Dental’s office located at 3470 Liberty Road South, at Salem Heights Plaza. Any new patient presenting a donation of at least $20 will receive an initial exam and digital x-rays from Dr. Abdelnour and SofTouch™ Dental as a thank-you. All money collected on behalf of this effort by Dr. Abdelnour and SofTouch™ Dental will be donated to the Salem Boys & Girls Club to support their efforts to continue to generate dental health awareness for youth throughout our community. SofTouch™’s dental team and Dr. Abdelnour will be providing, in addition to the initial exam and digital x-rays, basic dental care and hygiene instructions to every patient, including an oral cancer screening, blood pressure screening, basic hygiene care kit and more. “We’re excited to support the Boys & Girls Club; they offer a much-needed and tremendous service to our community now and in the future. We’re hoping to deliver a sizable donation at the end of the month,” stated Dr. Abdelnour. Dentistry is a family affair for Dr. Abdelnour. He is a 2001 graduate of Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry and started his dental career with his father, Dr. George Abdelnour, a now-retired McMinnville dentist.
