(LONDON) - Raw milk is being used to heal Crohn's disease. The Crohn's bacterium is identical to the Johnnes bacterium found in sick cattle. The bacteria goes through into the milk, carries by pus. It can be cultured in PASTEURIZED milk and the FDA has known this for more than a decade. The http://www.karlloren.com/diet/ There has been one death from raw milk in more than 57 years but a million people in the US have Crohn's disease, thousands more contract it each year, and hundreds die from it yearly. http://www.hemorrhoid.net/statistics.php The outrageous silence of the FDA around this situation is compounded by the FDA attacking the only source of safe milk in the country - milk from grass-fed cows who are not antibiotic, hormone, pesticide, GMO-feed laden and living under terrible industrial condition which are making them sick. 60% of the industrial dairy herd has Johnnes but it is not tested for. Many raw milk dairy farmers pay voluntarily to have their cows tested. It is for just such reason that the Canary Party was just founded. Parents of children sick with Crohn's are seeking means to heal them not being answered by giving them steroids and certainly not by the medical establishment hiding the source of the issue so the children continue eating unsafe dairy products and meat from sick animals (dairy cows are burned out rapidly by the use of rBGH and or sick in general from Johnnes, are a main source of hamburger meat). This is a medical scandal far outstripping what we have seen with e-coli. Hundreds are dying and the government is silent and protecting the offenders while attacking safe food producers. The new "food safety" bill gives new power - allegedly intended to stop corporate facilities but not one has been shut down for so much as a hour while the small local farming and food operations that have harmed no one are being closed using violence and conspiring to do so. There is the niggling problem of the food being safe but the FDA has just added a new rule under that powerful new act, a rule that goes into operation in July by which they can then seize UN-contaminated food (FDA claims power to seize food without evidence), when it needs to be clearing store shelves of pasteurized milk until it can be tested and proved it is not contaminated with Crohn's. The FDA is engaged in shutting off access to clean milk still full of valuable friendly bacteria already being used to treat Crohn's. But the issue with pasteurized milk may extend beyond Crohn, for at a time when American children are experiencing an epidemic of autism, and autism is linked to intestinal difficulties, there is anecdotal evidence that raw milk can be helpful, as well as medical concern that pasteurized milk may be implicated. Meanwhile, the government, in court working to remove the public's human rights around food and health, does not warn the public about Crohn's bacteria in pasteurized milk, and attacks Amish farmers doing right. Feds target Amish in bizarre sting operation It's the roughest, toughest gang of outlaws you've ever seen -- a band of bearded renegades so dangerous that a federal agency needed help from TWO law enforcement departments during a recent raid. The Amish must be stopped! These buggy-driving menaces represent such a threat to the American Way of Life that the feds put one of them in the crosshairs of an 18-month sting operation. But this wasn't about weapons, drugs or counterfeit money -- it was about RAW MILK. This thriller begins with brave FDA agents putting their lives on the line by infiltrating another group of known radicals: Washington, D.C.-area families that enjoy farm-fresh milk and other organic goods. These families know that raw milk is superior in every way to Big Dairy's watered-down swill and that it can even cure everything from asthma to autism. But since it's illegal to buy raw milk in Maryland, where most of these families live, they were forced to look elsewhere. That's when they joined together to form a cooperative to buy a stake in Dan Allgyer's Pennsylvania farm. It's a way of skirting the law -- you're not "buying" the milk if you already own the farm. Little did they know there were traitors in their midst: Undercover FDA agents using assumed names joined the club and attended gatherings in members' homes... where they secretly gathered evidence to use against Allgyer. And when the Amish farmer ultimately delivered his contraband, the agents turned into Elliot Ness and the Untouchables, launching an armed predawn raid on his Pennsylvania farm with the help of U.S. marshals and state police. All that was missing was a team of Navy SEALS! Naturally, there's no real evidence against Allgyer. After a year and a half undercover, the feds can't point to a single sick customer or a single case of contaminated milk. The only supposed crime Allgyer committed was "selling" his milk across state lines -- but since the cooperative is technically an owner and not a customer, even that argument is thinner than pasteurized milk.

There is EVERY reason to believe that raw milk will not contain the bacterium!! It is the very nature of the production of milk on an industrial scale that makes the milk subject to contamination. Do your homework, Gero. This article is rife with grammatical errors that might seem to diminish the author's credibility, but his point is accurate. And, by the way, it has nothing to do with being Amish. Many Amish farmers in the same region of the country are selling to big producers who pasteurize and, thus, do not comply with the cleanliness standards that Algyer did. Just as many Amish are farming conventionally as opposed to sustainably. The key word is small. They are small farmers, keeping herds on grass -- that they are also Amish helps! :) But apparently not in the government's eyes. :(

I agree, I grew up Amish, and the milk is not even close to the same taste, but they want to outlaw it now.

This is nonsense. There is no reason to think that raw milk would not also contain the bacterium. Is this guy even a real doctor?

Excellent atricle . . . very enlightening. Colli
