(ATHENS) - This is a live press conference from Athens regarding the holdup and blockage of the boats bound for Gaza as part of Freedom Flotilla II.

Organizers are discussing the French ship which is in an undisclosed location, and a second French ship now part of the Flotilla. There is a substantial update on the U.S. Boat 'Audacity of Hope' and the Canadian boat.

It is a story of raw human hope, determination, courage and sabotage.

Much will take place over the following days. Ships are absolutely staying en route and all of Israel's attempts to block and defeat this peace effort to reach Gaza and deliver aid are falling short.

Moreover, there has been positive press coverage in the U.S. which seems to create an even more defeating scenario for Israel, which last year attacked unarmed activists aboard the Mavi Marmara, leaving nine dead and dozens injured with gunshot wounds.

The press conference includes Adam Shapiro, one of the original people behind this intense movement to free the people of Gaza and end the years long blockade.
