Clem and Evans Campaigns Plan Massive Canvass For 'Restoring the Promise Day'Salem-News.com
(SALEM) - The Brian Clem and Paul Evans campaigns plan a coordinated canvass effort that includes multiple grass roots organizations including the Oregon Bus Project, Stand for Children, Marion County Democrats, SEIU, and members of local Veterans groups. Special guest, Congresswoman Darleen Hooley, will kick off the effort at 10:00 AM at Bush's Pasture Park in Salem. "We are excited the Bus Project has made Marion County a priority for 2006," Clem said. The Bus Project, a grassroots organization from Portland, is scheduled to bring over 70 members from Portland to go door-to-door to explain why this election is important for both campaigns. "We are honored to have Congresswoman Hooley join us in this fight for the future of Oregon," Evans said.
