(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Tonight Prison Pipeline is doing a one-hour special - Remembering Friends of Prison Pipeline. Host Ruth Kovacs says she wishes she could have included everyone, "because I truly appreciate every guest and supporter. But it's a fundraiser for KBOO - and they do need financial support.."

Kovacs continued, "So I wanted to let listeners remember some of the programs we've done. I tried to select samples of released prisoners, outreach and re-entry folks, political supporters, educators about prison issues, a little original music by young people, a voice from OSP (the Poetry Slam), the son of Scott Cannon who talks about what it was like to be a target of folks that believed his father was a murderer, Dave Dahl - a changed man indeed who hires ex-cons, and more." If you can support KBOO, please do it during their ONE HOUR SPECIAL tonight. Let KBOO know that you value Prison Pipeline.

Ruth Kovacs said, "And, as always, thank you, thank you, thank you for your loyalty and support regardless of your ability to donate or be a guest. I do appreciate so very much knowing that you are a friend of Prison Pipeline. With Warmest Regards."
