Mike Abo will be going to trial on Nov 4th I can't wait for his family to hear and see what he did Once they see what that monster has done they will cry and ask themselves why as well as so many others My heart breaks and hurts so much for everything that little guy went through by the hands of his mothers boyfriend I thank god everyday that the little boy had a fighting chance and made it! We all will see what a monster is really like when we come face to face with him in court

How's the boy? And cops wonder why they get very little respect? RESPECT is earned, not given, morons. Seems like 40 years HARD LABOR would be an appropriate sentence for this cowardly LOSER.

Has there been any update to this case?

Another out of control oinker, badge heavy and probably psychotic, beats a little 4 year old boy half to death. If the little fellow dies I want the pig to get the needle. This 34 year old punk is the new breed of psycho-pig that we're seeing more and more of as the police departments across the country are becoming more and more militarized. Get this pig in the Big House as soon as possible and if the little boy dies, give this pig the poison fang. I don't want him breathing my air. There's a special place in hell waiting for you shithead.

It isn't uncommon for photos to be used of victims, particularly those who are minors bc quite honestly, just as we see in this very situation an innocent child was the victim of a horrific crime which has most likely been over looked or months bc a man was able to hide behind his uniform and use it as a form of social currency. Now, to me the photo (assuming what I see on this page at this moment) is that of a smiling happy, sweet blond little guy and that it has also been obtained through legal means and by a moral code of gaining permission from his legal guardians than this is really a moot subject. Quite honestly, I am a bit concerned that the outrage is focused more toward a photo than that of the violent and disturbing nature of the crimes committed against this poor child. Children need more protection under the law from such people. As a society we seem to scrutinize to ridiculous levels the parent that uses a spanking or other form of discipline but then when there is a child who is really being victimized under extreme and horrific conditions our law enforcement, prosecutors, DHS continually fail to act or act at the slowest possible speed to protect the young. Prayers going out to this little one. If he survives I pray that his physical and emotional well being somehow remain in tact as he grows up and that he is able to somehow forget what has happened to him with time. My heart is broken for him.

The Salem radio station is all over this, we are not immoral for using a photo of a child who was brutalized. I hope the listeners heard my words and tell the radio guy we never have less than 20k daily vistors.

Mad Mom January 6, 2014 12:44 pm (Pacific time)

Really? Why in the WORLD would you post a picture of a 4-year old child that has been the victim of an horrific assault. Shame on you.

What is the story really about?  You vent anger at us but what about the people who hurt the child?
