Hillary Clinton: the Epitome of a Failed System

Her latest purely political maneuver shows just what a plotting scheming cowardly politician she is.

(JAMESTOWN, RI) - Hillary Clinton is the consummate scheming politician who represents a continuation of representing corporate interest and caving to special interests at the expense of the American people, but many Democrats and liberals will support her in 2016 because she is “better than the alternative”. As long as we continue to fall into that trap we deserve what we get.

Her latest purely political maneuver shows just what a plotting scheming cowardly politician she is. The same people who brought this country into a needless war based on lies against Iraq, recently began pushing for yet another war in Iran.

To his credit Obama, and he deserves little credit for anything else, has been pushing hard to work out a solution to improve relations with Iran. The Obama administration can be given credit for being willing to negotiate with Iran, and Iran has been more than willing to reach out in an attempt to resolve differences. Much progress has been made and it appears that we both are on track to come to a peaceful resolution of differences.

Then the warmongers emerged from under their rocks and began to circulate in Congress a new “stiff sanctions” bill in the midst of peace negotiations. Iran saw this coming long ago and cautioned that any new sanctions bills from Congress would jeopardize peace talks, which is precisely what the warmongers wanted to do.

The controversial sanctions bill gathered 59 cosponsors.

They were, as Obama said, choosing war over peace.

Who in their right mind would make that choice? The war making was being promoted by one group in American politics, AIPAC, along with Mr. Netanyahu of Israel.

AIPAC, the most powerful PAC in this nation used its power to intimidate members of Congress into signing on to the “pro-war” bill. It is disconcerting, to say the least, that any Congressman would be willing to bring the US into a catastrophic war, to placate a political action committee and a foreign country.

By their pro war stand those folks in Congress were putting the desire for war by a foreign nation ahead of what is best for the American people. Sad!

In any case, the pro war movement lost steam when president Obama publicly tongue lashed the warmongers and threatened to use the veto to kill the pro war bill, and for now the warmongers have retreated to their rocks.

During this raging AIPAC controversy, one largely uncovered by mainstream media as it is always the elephant in the room, Ms. Clinton sat on the sidelines scheming how best to use this situation to her advantage.

When key Congressional leaders refused to back the bill, along with Obama’s threats of veto, AIPAC retreated, and then and only then, did Ms. Clinton enter the fray.

Ms. Clinton, who wants to be the leader of one of the world’s superpowers only surfaced after the fight was over. Now that’s leadership! But it gets even more Machiavellian. Ms. Clinton rode in on her white horse “whispering” the news she was against the pro war sanctions after the battle was over, and on Super Bowl Sunday.

What a calculating move.

Coming out against the pro war bill but doing so on Super Bowl Sunday assured there would be no news coverage of her position and she would not antagonize AIPAC.

Ms. Clinton, in her 2016 presidential resume can claim she helped prevent a war with Iran by opposing the pro war sanctions bill, but in 2008 as Secretary of State threatened to “totally obliterate them”.

Sadly most Democrats will fall into line if Ms. Clinton secures the nomination for President and will support her using the logic of many Democrats, and vote the lesser of two evils.

As long as voters play that game and lower their standards, we all lose.

Most people realize the entire system has been corrupted by money and special interest, and is useless. When it comes to helping the public, we have no support in Congress. Both parties have long since sold their souls to special interest and big donors.

The system is broken beyond repair, for money now controls the entire system, so the only hope for change is for massive rejection of the system by abandoning the two major parties and looking for alternative parties who might better represent us. Voters have longed for the “none of the above” option but they already have it.

Supporting either of the two parties is a wasted vote because neither party will represent your interests. Reject the two corrupt parties by voting for a third of your choice and send the message, “none of the above”.
