Feb-09-2014 11:43TweetFollow @OregonNews Victoria Nuland: ''F….the EU'' is Not the Larger Story.Joe Clifford Salem-News.comBecause lying is the norm in government, none of the public political liars has been reprimanded, they cannot be trusted.
(JAMESTOWN, RI) - US Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland embarrassed herself and her country with her comment: “F…..the EU!”, but that is only a small part of a much larger story. When the leaked phone conversation appeared on YouTube, Ms. Nuland and the US were outraged at the invasion of her privacy. How ironic that an Assistant Secretary of the US, a government who intercepts and listens to almost every conversation in the world, including most of the world’s leaders, would dare express outage when her privacy is invaded. Apparently this government and Nuland believe it is ok when the US listens in to its own citizens, other world leaders, and citizens of the entire world, but when someone else does the same thing to her, it is horrible. Ms. Nuland just happens to have received the Angela Merkel treatment. Listening to the entire conversation, and putting Ms. Nuland’s foul mouth and her contempt of the EU aside, it is apparent that once again the US government has been caught in a major lie, and the nature of the lie is the big story. For years the US has been claiming it is not interfering in the political unrest in the Ukraine, but the conversation clearly shows the US is trying to bring about change in the Ukraine government, despite the fact that it was elected democratically by the people. We like democracies when folks in countries elect who we want, but when they vote for leaders not acceptable to us we try subterfuge and sabotage to get rid of democracies we did not elect. It is sheer absolute hypocrisy, but it illustrates why the rest of the world in a major recent poll, believes the US to be the biggest threat to peace and stability in the world. Nuland’s big mouth reveled the US government most definitely is interfering and orchestrating a government change in the Ukraine, despite all the lies to the contrary by the US government. Lying has become acceptable norm, at least in the US government. We have a known liar in James Clapper, Director of National Intelligence, who was caught red handed in his big lie to Congress. When asked if the US government was collecting Metadata on US citizens, he flatly lied and said “No”.
Mr. Snowden’s revelations proved Clapper to be what he is. NSA chief Keith Alexander publically lied when he bragged about 54 terrorist plots having been prevented by massive collection of data, when the real number turned out to be 0. While some ill-informed condemn Mr. Snowden, they cannot cite one specific example of physical harm to any individual done by his massive leak of government documents. His crime is exposing government officials for massive lies and deception, and we should be eternally grateful for his sacrifice in bringing to the American people the truth. The truth is; they constantly lie. The only outrage comes from those who have been proven liars. Because lying is the norm in government, none of the public political liars has been reprimanded, which explains why the public holds political leaders in such contempt. They cannot be trusted.
