(GUANTANAMO BAY) - The Department of Defense announced today the transfer of ten detainees from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to Saudi Arabia. These detainees were determined to be eligible for transfer following a comprehensive series of review processes. The DoD says the transfer is a demonstration of the United States' desire not to hold detainees any longer than necessary. "It also underscores the processes put in place to assess each individual and make a determination about their detention while hostilities are ongoing – an unprecedented step in the history of warfare," the DoD said. The Department of Defense has determined – through its comprehensive review processes - that more than 60 detainees at Guantanamo are eligible for transfer or release. Departure of these detainees is subject to ongoing discussions between the United States and other nations. Story continues below Since 2002, approximately 500 detainees have departed Guantanamo for other countries including Albania, Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Belgium, Denmark, Egypt, France, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Maldives, Mauritania, Morocco, Pakistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Sudan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uganda, United Kingdom and Yemen. Jefferson - funny that the religion most steeped in occultism finds fault in it. No surprise I rarely expect consistency or sense from the organizationally religious. As for your other comment I merely need to point out that projection is a sad process of delusion that you seem to practice regularly. Ah well...

It takes one to know one; re "demonic possession" N-N has running start on recognition.

I'll put a good word in for you this Sunday feldman re: "The Pope has ordered his bishops to set up exorcism squads to tackle the rise of Satanism. Vatican chiefs are concerned at what they see as an increased interest in the occult. They have introduced courses for priests to combat what they call the most extreme form of "Godlessness." " Each bishop is to be told to have in his diocese a number of priests trained to fight demonic possession.

Unrevealed in story is fact that some nations to which these detainees are sent now allow torture, including water-boarding. That explains N-N's happy welcome of their export. Wonder if he gets to apply technique, since he's such ubiqitous presence everwhere these days...?> !!

Feldman as usual you simply have no idea about what's going on. Simplistic ramblings from a simplistic...it fits!

What terrorists? People do not want foreign military on their soil. Who are the real terrorists then? If the global elite (Bilderberg) want their New World Order, you have to expect people to fight back. I do not want one world government controlled by the most powerful unelected people on the planet.

Oh my poor naive little one... no matter how many we kill our simply doing so creates more. We kill one and ten of their family or friends are now our enemy. I realize you are on record supporting killing everyone on the planet without US citizenship but I think long before that happens the rest of the world will unite against the threat we would represent in seeking your goal. This policy has resulted in a war based on lies and the near total destruction of our nation's reputation around the planet that will take generations to repair. But what do you care? You are clearly certifiable. Ah well...
Jefferson December 28, 2007 10:08 pm (Pacific time)
This is good and what was predicted. Look for more terrorists to avoid capture and more terrorists re-thinking entering the battlefield. Their numbers will diminish, but they will attempt a big offensive next year, summertime, and they will be beaten badly.
