The Siege of Gaza

It is our duty to finish what the brave men and women of the Freedom Flotilla and the campaigns that preceded it. It is time to break the siege.

Siege of Gaza
A new world conscience is saying 'enough'.

(TEL AVIV) - The three year old siege on the Gaza Strip and its 1.5 million inhabitants is a testament to the Israeli regime's disregard of law, decency and morality.

This siege amounts to collective punishment, an action outlawed by various conventions and humanitarian laws. This is not to mention the suffering and humanitarian crisis caused by this law.

This siege has been disgracefully condoned by the "international community" and justified by the "free world" as a measure that safeguards the security of the Israeli regime.

The same position was applied to the various humanitarian aid ships that were attacked and abducted in international waters, and the aid carried by those ships confiscated.

The killing of 9 Turkish activists on the the Freedom Flotilla on 1 June brought an abrupt end to international silence regarding the siege. It is unfortunate that the world needed to see the blood of those brave men to realize the brutality of the siege and of the besieger.

Nevertheless, it is our duty to finish what the brave men and women of the Freedom Flotilla and the campaigns that preceded it. It is time to break the siege.

Special thanks to Gilad Atzmon

This analysis "If all the things you described were true, it would take many years for anyone of this background to catch up to the number of deaths Americans have inflicted in their home countries."
That is like a tit for tat, or gangbangers always getting payback. The muslims have been attacking the United States since our founding, and they will continue until they are completely prevented from continuing their belligerence. Oh sure, there are some brain dumb moron who engage in historical revisionism, and you can do that at your own peril, but the majority of us, which is in poll after every poll, know what must be done. Watch what happens if these monsters get a high body count, will you defend them then? Bloody unlikely, but if you feel so strong that you are correct, then start printing flyers and leaflets and go into crowds and hand them out. Will you? Of course not. I would if I believed that I was right in that twisted revisionism, but in time, they will be prevented from hurting us, no matter to what lengths we must go AS A NATION.

Tim King: What a sad twisted thought, the 'Muslims' haven't attacked anybody except on their own soil. That suggestion is not true and I fear half the stuff we have heard is contrived.  The only acts you can point to were isolated and not representative of a faith or religion.     What a simple thing it all is to see through.  Yes, many Islamic people are disgusted by the American warmongers with their gas guzzling air polluting lifestyles where the poor do all the paying and the rich play golf.  If you blame them for feeling that way that is your business.  For western people, the Bible is there to guide those who can't figure out the Golden Rule for themselves.  I know many wonderful people who are Muslim, as I know great people who are Jewish and Christian and other faiths.  That isn't what I judge them by because I'm not a bigot.  Bigots judge entire faiths with a randomly stated thought, the way you do above, and it is not only unproductive; it creates an impossible scenario for healing.

I picture the character 'Archie Bunker' in addressing your bizarre paranoid unfounded allegations.  It reminds me why it is so important that we exist at Salem-News.com and that we are able to get the real story out to the people.  Truth-Justice-Peace

The problem isn't generally with the Muslims who flee the horrors in their home countries. The problem is with their children who come here and despite growing up with all of the advantages of being an American chiefly among them peace and freedom and all of our rights, some want to kill us -- lots of us. The scary thing is that when you look back at some of their lives many of their American friends and schoolmates are shocked because they thought they were "moderate" Muslims who loved America and would NEVER do anything to hurt us. I have no reason to fear people who emigrated from County Cork and their offspring. They do not attempt to explode car bombs and kill familes at a tree lighting ceremony in Portland, or explode car bombs in Times Square, or ignite underwear bombs on airplanes, or kill 13 innocents at Ft Hood Texas screaming "God is Great!" What kind of God agrees with that? They have integrated into America and have become Americans. Some Muslims (and some of their religous leaders) do everything possible to STOP integration into American society and are working day and night not to become American, but to have America become Islamic, through whatever means necessary, from terrorism to using our laws and "liberal" guilt of some ignorants to achieve their goals. There are millions of Americans who share their views and are working to have Sharia law declared in the United States. We are at war. There has been an average of one terrorist attack per month since Bush left office as reported by the media. I wonder how many are not being reported. For those of you who know very peaceful muslims, remember they are like sheep or they look the other way when the radicals act out. Regardless if moderate or are murdering radicals they have the same endgame, so we are at war and will be until one of us is destroyed. Better pick the correct side.

Editor: That is some paranoid speculation Jamet.  I don't think it is the case at all.  The Israeli lobby has the US economy wrapped around its little finger.  Most Muslim people could care less about the US but they are aware of the evil murderous past that represents the USA today.  If all the things you described were true, it would take many years for anyone of this background to catch up to the number of deaths Americans have inflicted in their home countries.
