Ron Paul: 'I would like to restore your right to drink raw milk any time you want to!'

Congressman Rob Paul- a rock star in New Hampshire.

Congressman and Republican Presidential Candidate Ron Paul
Congressman and GOP Presidential Candidate Ron Paul smiles at enthusiastic reactions to his plan to allow raw milk

(SALEM) - Ron Paul is scoring big points with those who decry government control of food products, by declaring an end to regulations on the sale of raw milk in the state of New Hampshire.

An NBC news reporter compares the Texas Congressman to a rock star when gauging the strong reception garnered by Paul's words.

It is all a bit intoxicating for Americans who watched their historic rights vaporize this week after the passage of the new defense spending bill.

The Congressman and Republican Presidential Candidate said:

The drug companies, the insurance companies, they are the big lobbyists and they promote things, and they would also prevent and would like to regulate all alternative care and vitamins and nutritional products and keep people from it.

He says that a a symbol of of moving in a different direction, he would like to:

... restore your right to drink raw milk any time you want it.

The words brought a large reaction at a town hall meeting in New Hampshire this week.

The state has regulations that bar the sale of milk products that are not fully vetted by government regulation.

Ted - Check your facts from an independant source: Ron paul gets more contributions from military personnel than all other republicans combined. There are dozens of places you can verify this for yourself.

Stephen, actually the biggest receiver of political donations by veterans is to former Air Force pilot (5 year active-duty) Governor Perry. Rep. Paul has some excellent ideas, and brings ideas to the table that appear to generate discussion. His chances of becoming the Republican nominee seems rather remote because his appeal is quite narrow.

If you support Ron Paul. Go grab your parents and sit them down and explain to them that the Neocons are going to take away their Social Security and Medicare and their only hope is vote for Ron Paul. A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Peace and sound economic policy. A vote for any other including Obama is a vote for endless war, assassinations, life in prison with no charge, crushing debt and enough deficit spending to enslave your children's grand children.

This is why our only hope is Ron Paul...he is having a donation day today..I just donated $20.12 While all the other candidates, whether D or R, take money from lobbyists, corporations, and israel, Ron Paul gets donations from the people, AND, his donations from the military are beyond fantastic. The military supports Ron Paul..look it up yourself. Salem-news is fine and all, but we have someone out there that can really make a difference..Please donate TODAY! Sorry for the infomercial, but we are in dire straits time now, and no time to be fooling around...people need to wake up, there is much more going on than most eyes see, including salem-news..
