(BLACKSBURG, Va.) - The Virginia Tech Police Department has confirmed the identification of the gunman responsible for the multiple fatalities at Norris Hall on the Virginia Tech campus Monday.

The individual has been identified as 23-year old Cho Seung-Hui (pronounced Choh Suhng-whee). Cho was enrolled as an undergraduate student in his senior year as an English major at Virginia Tech. Cho, a South Korean native, was in the U.S. as a resident alien with a residence established in Centerville, Va. He was living on campus, in another dorm, Harper Residence Hall.

A 9-millimeter handgun and 22-caliber handgun were recovered from Norris Hall.

Ballistic tests on the evidence seized from the Norris Hall and the West Ambler Johnston Residence Hall scenes were conducted at the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) lab in Maryland.

Lab results confirmed that one of the two weapons seized in Norris Hall was used in both shootings.

“At this time, the evidence does not conclusively identify Cho Seung-Hui as the gunman at both locations,” said Col. W. Steven Flaherty, Superintendent of the Virginia State Police. “With this newfound ballistics evidence, we are now able to proceed to the next level of this complex investigation.”

State, local, and federal investigators spent the night collecting, processing, and analyzing evidence from within Norris Hall.

The deceased were recovered from at least four classrooms on the second floor and a stairwell of Norris Hall.

The gunman, who took his life, was discovered by police in a classroom among the victims.

All of the deceased have been transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Roanoke for examination and identification.

The names of the 32 deceased students and faculty will be released once all victims are positively identified and next-of-kin notified.

The Virginia Tech Police Department, Blacksburg Police Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Virginia State Police, FBI, ATF, and multiple other state and local agencies are all involved in the ongoing investigations at both Norris Hall and West Ambler Johnston Hall.

To Editor, I believe someone is yanking your chain. Comment with name Keith starting with "Dear Administrators" seems fake and the subsequent dialogue manufactured. Not an earth shattering problem and will send you an email to prove to you this is me. Something is inconsistent. and smacks of game playing. You can't win em all. You may be too busy to study the contradictions in the exchange. It is confusing for me at this point but the "Dear Administrators" under name Keith is very strange and contradictatory.

Coulter April 21, 2007 6:14 pm (Pacific time)

Keith, so who gives a rip about any country in Europe? My data deals with gun laws here, and it concerns people who carry them lawfully. Since the guns are out there, and they are not going away, because criminals will always have them, then the stats I provided allows even low IQ's out there to see how much safer we are when guns are carried by responsible people. Once again the data is for America. Actually since they pretty well put the clamps on gun ownership in England, gun crime has gone up. Guess who's committing most of the gun crime there? Who here in the states? Canada? When you come to grips with that answer, then what solution do you have Keith?

Albert Marnell April 21, 2007 5:37 pm (Pacific time)

I find it hard to believe that so many people still watch television. Enjoy the at least 20 minutes of commercials per hour, the fake two point of views often aired and the bills for what is basically garbage and propaganda. Certainly you must know that the commercials are propaganda. What makes anyone think that most of the rest is not except maybe some of the weather reports which are endlessly overdone and repeated.

The Editor April 21, 2007 4:36 pm (Pacific time)

Keith, Done. Thank you for the heads up. It is in bad form to impersonate a fellow comment-giver. We will be watching more closely, and will delete or ban a writer should we find it necessary.

Keith April 21, 2007 4:28 pm (Pacific time)

gun deaths per 100,000 population: US:14.24, Sweden:1.92, Germany:1.24, England Wales:0.41, Japan:0.15, S.Korea:0.12 30,000 gun deaths per year is like one thousand VaTech’s per year. Yeah, if all those drunk Hokie frat boys coming from a kegger each had an Uzi, then I’ll bet the campus would be a lot safer (sarcasm). Yeah, I hope the next bar I go to, everyone is packin’ so when I spill their beer or look at their girl—they can fill me full of lead–just like the Olde West (sarcasm again).

Keith April 21, 2007 4:23 pm (Pacific time)

Dear administrators, Please take the following post off. It is someone pretending to be me.: "Keith April 21, 2007 9:18 am (Pacific time) You know Rosenberg, I have thought about it , you are correct. Please accept my apology. Sorry Albert and Angelica, you are not thinking objectively."

SHIRLEY KITZHABER April 21, 2007 9:59 am (Pacific time)

REAL CRIMES: By Israeli's. As you know, the Duke lacrosse team rape scandal is over and the White players have been completely cleared of any wrongdoing. For over one year this non-existent rape was the leading story in the American news media. The theme of most articles and editorials was that Whites regularly rape and abuse Black women and that this crime happened because of pervasive White racism in American society. The opposite is true. White women are raped BY A RATE of over 50 per day by blacks, whereas less than 20 rapes of blacks by whites PER YEAR! The truth is that the boys at Duke are not racists; they are the victims of a criminal justice system and media that are blatantly racist against White people. As the truth of the Duke lacrosse story unfolded, a horrible and real hate crime occurred against a young White couple in Knoxville. Miss Channon Christian and Mr. Christopher Newsom were kidnapped, raped, tortured, mutilated and murdered by five Blacks. Channon was tortured and raped by the five assailants over a two day period. Her breasts were cut off, and toxic cleaning fluid (in an attempt to destroy DNA evidence) was forced down her throat. Her body was dismembered and thrown into a trash can. Christopher Newsom was beaten, tortured, and forced to watch as the assailants raped his girlfriend. The perpetrators even cut off Newsom’s penis and then set his body afire. Since that time, shock-Jock Imus, who says nasty and disgusting things about just about everyone in the name of humor, was knocked off the air because in a comedy banter he called Black women basketball players “nappy headed ho’s.” Even though he apologized and the team accepted it, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson raised hell and Imus lost his job–the evil of alleged pervasive “White racism” was the number one story for weeks. In truth, the network heads are not really worried about “racism” or “hate speech,” they are only worried about “hate speech” about certain groups. For instance, in a media dominated thoroughly by Jewish extremist supporters of Israel, anything goes in the most vicious attacks against Palestinians.

Coulter April 21, 2007 9:35 am (Pacific time)

Only one policy has ever been shown to deter mass murder: concealed-carry laws. In a comprehensive study of all public, multiple-shooting incidents in America between 1977 and 1999, the inestimable economists John Lott and Bill Landes found that concealed-carry laws were the only laws that had any beneficial effect. And the effect was not insignificant. States that allowed citizens to carry concealed handguns reduced multiple-shooting attacks by 60 percent and reduced the death and injury from these attacks by nearly 80 percent. Apparently, even crazy people prefer targets that can't shoot back. The reason schools are consistently popular targets for mass murderers is precisely because of all the idiotic "Gun-Free School Zone" laws.

Rosenberg April 21, 2007 7:49 am (Pacific time)

Keith what Cho and I might have in common is that I sent evil sub-human genetic scum like that straight to hell. It was a good thing to do! You on the other hand, and people like you, always expect others to take care of you, while you attack them for doing that. Chickens may come home to roost for people of your ilk. Also, we expect Kerry-Kohn to make another run, if he does, more information will be out and even you on the left will not be able to hose him off fast enough. So I assume you agree with the traitor-coward Kerry-Kohn that all Vietnam Veterans are war criminals? If you do, why not attend any type of veteran's meeting(s) and share that view. I am sure they will calmly explain to you why you are incorrect. I would not expect cowards to do that though! P.S. There are people who talk and there are people that do. Now I know what type Marnell is, and you , Keith, know what type you are.

Albert Marnell April 21, 2007 1:02 am (Pacific time)

Thanks Keith and Angelica T. for your effort.

Keith April 20, 2007 8:10 pm (Pacific time)

Rosenberg and Cho sound like they have a lot in common.

Rosenberg April 20, 2007 9:47 am (Pacific time)

Not only is John Kerry (real name is KOHN) a traitor, he is also no hero. He spent approximately 4 months in Vietnam (1/3 of a normal tour), and right from the start he schemed to find a way to leave early, and he was successful. His so-called purple hearts (I have several and was hospitalized each time, the last one for several months right after TET, 1968)never required more than a bandaid. Most combat soldiers eshcew a purple heart award for such minor wounds, except maybe people like John Murtha. Kerry never ventured inside Vietnam where the majority of combat was happening, but he made all these allegations about what was happening. Most of you reading this have been grossly misinformed about this war. Frankly I could care less about what Bush did, though flying the jets that he did was no easy task. A college C and D student like Kerry could not have mastered this level of flying. I don't hear any of you talking about the convicted and disbarred felon, the Clintoon, regarding his trip to the Soviet Union in 1968 , a real filthy draft dodger, and how he was railing against the troops! Ergo, John Kerry also never released his medical records, even though he said he would. I repeat he has not...check it out for yourself. Also he did not put in for his discharge until Carter became president...several years after he could have. Reason: he would have received a less than honorable because of his criminal activity with the North Vietnamese in France. Bottom line, he is irrelevant! I am certainly no nazi, but it is people like me that you have the right to say what you do, even though you are absolutely clueless. Peace.

Keith April 19, 2007 10:10 pm (Pacific time)

"STRANGE" said don't bring war into this---but many sociologists and historians say Americans always fighting senseless wars in every corner of the globe teach people that extreme violence is always the solution to any problem. There are corelations between state violence and citizen violence. Notice how the posters here who love killing millions of innocents on the other side of the globe, also insist on having quick easy access to military style weapons in their homes. And you are a "sissy" if you disagree with killing 2.5 million Vietnamese who would have done nothing to us if we did not invade their country. Sounds like some posters are insecure in their own sexual orientation. Charles Whitman was also an ex-Marine. Tim McVeigh also fought in Iraq.

Keith April 19, 2007 9:48 pm (Pacific time)

Wayne LaPierre (head of NRA) told me that he got a friendly family doctor to lie and say that he had a "nervous condition" and thus got out of the draft even though he had a low lottery number. Ted Nugent, NRA spokesman, nutjob, and strong advocate for every war, told a reporter that he went to his draft physical with 2 weeks worth of his own human waste in his clothes---thus he dodged the draft. Reagan-Bush administration sold massive amounts of weapons illegally to the terrorist state of Iran under Ayatollah Khomenhi. John Kerry prosecuted those responsible as much as possible until conservatives blocked him and pardoned them. Angelica, I think I have a crush on you.

Angelica T. April 19, 2007 6:53 pm (Pacific time)

Rosenberg is an absolute liar, and all people like him are the exact same people that backed Hitler in a different time period. Flap your whiny jaws all you like, but John Kerry was a hero and Bush is a lying buffoon, of course you would relate to that. And all of Bush's henchmen are an equally useless group of freaking draft dodgers who should have been impressed into service. So, do guys like you make deals with the devil when nobody is looking? John Kerry, regardless of your irrational blathering, is a thousand times the man that any of you liars are. I know, you will come back and spew plenty more, you guys never need original material because you just keep repeating the same lies. The scariest part of course is you actually believing yourself, poor little man. Keith, I love you.

Keith April 19, 2007 6:38 pm (Pacific time)

John Kerry won five medals in Vietnam. He volunteered for the military and volunteered for combat duty. According to the first amendment, he has the right to speak his views. The men on his swiftboat said Kerry told the truth and the men on the other swiftboat lied. George Bush got his influential father to keep him out of Nam. Then Bush never reported to the Guard duty once they began a drug test as part of the flight physical. Pat Tillman liked to read Chomsky. Are you banning books now too, you little Nazi? Go here to see who served their country and who chickened out: www.awolbush.com/whoserved GHW Bush and GW Bush did business with the bin Ladens. Does that make them traitors?

Keith April 19, 2007 6:21 pm (Pacific time)

Rosenberg, You called me a youngster. If you could read you would know I just said I have been reading history books for fifty years. Give me a specific point where Chomsky is false. The second amendment says "well regulated militia". I don't think Cho comes under the definition of "well regulated militia". Maybe you do. The Supreme Court has agreed with me throughout the history of the USA. Cho killed 32 people because he was insane. Bush killed 660,000 people (unconnected to 9/11) for the OIL.

Albert Marnell April 19, 2007 6:17 pm (Pacific time)

Do not make assumptions about people who did not choose a military career after high-school. I was able to go to a University and I went. It would have been stupid for me to have gone any other route in all probability. As I always say, I would have no problem killing if it was to defend myself. I may have wanted to kill for other reasons but know that it is illegal and probably would feel bad after. If it were not illegal, I can not honestly answer how I would feel. I do not need the government telling me who my enemies are. I know who is out to harm me, military officials don't even know that I exist and I should listen to them?

Rosenberg April 19, 2007 12:05 pm (Pacific time)

Keith: Kerry was not a hero, he "is" a traitor though. You seem to be rather deficient in your interpretation of history, especially as per the 2nd Amendment, but what the hay, the 1st Amendment doesn't preclude someone for being uninformed. You're just a youngster that probably read too much Chomsky...

Keith April 19, 2007 1:42 am (Pacific time)

I see where you called me a fool twice. I don't see where anyone called you a tool or fool.

Keith April 19, 2007 1:36 am (Pacific time)

JLSELLE, you sure are shooting off your mouth with no evidence to back it up. You offended the first amendment with the "shut your trap" remark. The US Supreme Court, which knows more about the Constitution than you do, interprets "well-regulated" to mean congress has the power to pass gun-control legislation. Gallup polls for the past 17 years say Americans want stricter gun laws. Those who want weaker gun laws varies between 2% and 12%. I said I have been reading history for the past 50 years because you said I did not know history. How does that compare to you, big mouth. I got a lottery number and in 1972 they did not draft as high as my number. That is not dodging. NRA head Wayne LaPierre told me got a doctor to lie and say he had a "nervous condition"---thus becoming a draft dodger. Cheney had five deferments. Reagan never left Hollywood. JFK, McGovern, and Kerry were heroes. Check out www.awolbush.com/whoserved to see the liberal heroes and conservative cowards. It isn't cowardly not to wage war against a country that did nothing to us like Iraq. Osama bin Laden hides in Pakistan. Iraq has the oil.

JLSELLE April 18, 2007 8:44 pm (Pacific time)

Ok, sorry if I offended you about the trap shutting. I have 2 pistols at reach with 15 round mags in my house. Do I believe that an individual on a visa should be able to own a firearm or posses one in the US while here. NO! I think you took "Well regulated militia" way out of context. Regulated as far as controlled, no, regulated as far as regulations within it's ranks I do believe. Hence the UCMJ. I'm sorry, but one whom gripes about his country and it's ways, yet does no military time and calls ones whom have a sense of loyalty to the same country and have served time tools? Your a real statesman Johnny. Reading history books since 1957 huh? I bet you were a vietnam draft-dodger and protesting sissy selling out the same country, the same way you do today. And if you weren't, then you probably didn't have the chance.... But would have given that chance. People like you undermine way too much good.

Keith April 18, 2007 5:59 pm (Pacific time)

I know history. I have been reading history books since 1957. I was dean's list in sociology, history, and political science at a university that was top ten in the USA in all three. The first amendment says freedom of speech and you tell me "keep your trap shut". The second says "well-regulated milita" and you are opposed to regulation. A gun in the home is 22 times more likely to result in harm to a family member than an intruder. Quick, easy access to a semi-automatic handgun with a 15-round clip is WRONG.

N.N.U.S. April 18, 2007 2:14 pm (Pacific time)

JLselle and Rosenberg, Your patriotism is well placed....maybe in 1776. Get it through your heads. There is no U.S.A. as you may have known it. When a government and the world governments become so meshed with multinationals and the global elite...then you are fighting for multinationals and the global elite. May I suggest you do a search on F.R.E.E. The Fund to Restore and Educated Electorate. The military is used like a prostitute for corporate goals, not the goals of the people called Americans....Katrina being a typical example. No long winded comment on this one, it is too simple and if you do not understand "Why We Fight" take out the documentary, the new one, not the propaganda film from 1940 whatever. Did you ever see "Triumph of the Wills"? Triumph des Willens, all MSM and special interest has been doing this since Joseph Goebbels make it an art.

ebony April 18, 2007 1:32 pm (Pacific time)

Humanity in general continues to have wake up calls, and as a whole we can't seem to grasp the idea of"peace for humanity!" All these tradgedies that are taking place around the U.S. such as, the Columbine shooting, the World Trade Center, etc. All of these situations comes back to the reality as to who should take responsibility for these actions. It's easier to blame someone else for our disaster dealing with humanity, however, as a country we all need to come together to make "LIFE" more important than excusing ourselves as to why we couldn't assist. It's not until one of our own is tragically killed than we have a wake up call till everything goes back to some type of normalcy. It's sad to know that these people who were totally innocent of this situation ended up paying with their lives. My condolences to their families and to all who were directly and indirectly affected. You sometimes wonder if the continous pressure of living up to someones standards is worth losing so many of our own values as a World that we are in denial of seeing what's obvious"Hatred,Anger, and the Need to be Interested in someone who seems to need our assistance. We are World who grieves in silence because of our stupid ways of thinking. Instead, we should learn from these situations to care,be more generous, and concentrate on being humane to one another without the craziness and mentality of just looking out our immediate families. People say that we have come along way regarding tech., medicine, etc.,however, why is it that with all the education that we have can not make us a better country. Great Saddness!

Rosenberg April 18, 2007 7:35 am (Pacific time)

JLSELLE you are right on. I am a combat veteran, it's a waste of time presenting facts to idiots. They drink the kool aid, save your energy. The majority of us know the real story...

JLSELLE April 17, 2007 9:25 pm (Pacific time)

cowboy shoot-em up mentality? Our culture is bankrupt? I guess you don't know your own country's history... Are you American? Were you born in this country? Do you know of our country's history? How did this country win it's independence? It sure wasn't won by playing chess you fool. As was any culture or nation..... Your mouth should only be writing checks your brain can cash... And by the sounds of it, your brain is bankrupt, not MY culture....

JLSELLE April 17, 2007 9:15 pm (Pacific time)

You two are liberal idiots. Take away the guns and rewrite the constitution right? Fools. And the US may have the highest murder rate that is REPORTED. Where does genocide in foreign countries fit in? What does the NRA have to do with this. Thats like blaming the Chinese for inventing the gunpowder that is used in the cartridge which discharges a slug from a piece of steel that releases a pin which is held back by a spring. Are you that ignorant? Apparently.... And yes, I do care about the poor kids in Iraq, just like every other war veteran that has ever served in that country. Until you have been there, keep you trap shut.... You talk of assumptions that you concocted from watching liberal based news source media... I think you just shot yourself in the foot... The media is only reporting what is happening in the world, which yes, is what they want us to know and what we should know. Are they reporting everything, NO, but does everything need to be known by a peasant, such as yourself and myself, that could endanger our country and troops? Enough said to a foolish coward who would never even defend his own family let alone his own country and countrymen...

keith April 17, 2007 8:16 pm (Pacific time)

I don't mean to say that "Pulp Fiction" is the cause of violence---it is a reflection of our culture of violence. The Vietnamese War killed about 2.5 milllion and people were attacked for questioning it. "Platoon" and "Apocalypese Now" were not the cause of the war---just a reflection.

keith April 17, 2007 8:10 pm (Pacific time)

People who question the killing of 655,000 Iraqis (who had nothing to do with 9/11) get attacked by conservatives. The greatest shooting spree in the US was not Blacksburg, but Civil War--- with about one million casualties.

strange April 17, 2007 8:05 pm (Pacific time)

This is a tragedy. period. Don t being politics into this. Don't bring wars into this. I don't agree with Iraq but since when hasn't there been wars?? We can't get along and never will. This kid was disturbed and by reading his writing possibly abused. Take a long hard look around you. Our world is messed up.... My opinion is that we should get out of our soft cushy houses and jobs and make a difference. I am sure the marine can relate and tell everyone else how easy american's have it. Its horrible that awful things happen you cannot take it back or change it other then to open your eyes and change yourself. I am sick of people that whine and blame everyone else. We are all american's and our country is screwed so do something about it and stop complaining!!! All the family's and students effected by this tragedy have my utmost compassion.

Nothing New Under The Sun April 17, 2007 7:29 pm (Pacific time)

I agree with you Keith and totally get your point. The culture is the problem...a Cowboy Wild West shoot-em up mentality. The culture is bankrupt in so many ways. This love of guns and all things violent is just one of them.

keith April 17, 2007 6:49 pm (Pacific time)

Cho had an indoctrination in American culture from the age of 8 to 23. Many thousands of times he was shown that the answer to coflicts is gun violence: Iraq, Rambo, Grenada, Eastwood, Lebanon, Terminator, Panama, Pulp Fiction, Iran, GrindHouse, etc. No developed country has the murder rate of the USA. Interesting that Cho is from Fairfax Co., the home of the NRA. The gun was bought in Roanoke where NRA head Wayne LaPierre and I were best friends.

ana April 17, 2007 6:49 pm (Pacific time)

the police should get there in time i feel sad for all the people that died i hate the guy that killed those people just cuz he did that a lot of people died becuase of him is just dumb what he did atleast one of the proffecers tried to help the kids

T.K. Lee April 17, 2007 2:51 pm (Pacific time)

Isn't anyone concerned about his parents?

Nothing New Under The Sun April 17, 2007 1:19 pm (Pacific time)

JLSELLE: What are guns for..open heart surgery? You do not get pleasure at killing those you were brainwashed to believe were the enemy? You should visit the L.A. Coroners office. A shooting in L.A. is now jokingly called an L.A. natural. I do not feel that life is cheap but it sure is selectively treated that way. When was the last time you directly gave a homeless person a ham sandwich and a cup of coffee? Dead homeless are all over the place.....do you really care? How about the poor kids in Iraq....do you really care? We are attacked by Saudi and Egyptian terrorists and then we invade Iraq. What is wrong with that picture? Base building is very profitable for the privelaged few over the long run. You may get a military benefit of one source or another but that is nothing compared to what the bums in the Pentagon or Defense Department get and multinationals get. And if they are so good at defense, why did 9/11 happen?

N.N.U.S. April 17, 2007 1:06 pm (Pacific time)

Mike, They do not know that you exist either.

JLSELLE April 17, 2007 12:59 pm (Pacific time)

I was a Marine and have served in wars on two fronts you fool. You know nothing about what you speak. Life is not cheap. If you knew what you were talking about you wouldn't summize ignorance. Foolish "nothing new under the sun". And don't try to tell me you have served in the Marine Corps, because if you had you would know better than to make a foolish comment like that...Idiot

Bush It April 17, 2007 12:54 pm (Pacific time)

As someone who studied finance and economics, you do not know what in the hell you are talking about and furthermore the first thing you learn in Universities that teach finance and economics is that statistics are bull and put out by various administrations to manipulate public perception of performance. Your sure know alot BUSH!

Nothing New Under The Sun April 17, 2007 12:51 pm (Pacific time)

As you get older and more insightful (hopefully) you will see the cause and effect of all. Besides, we all die. What have you done to be an advocate against highway deaths? They are in far greater number than this and most are created by the human condition. You are so affected by the television. Do you care about what the media does not focus obsessively on? Do you even know that other horrors are going on in the world at this very minute. You got sucked into T.V. land. Don't get emotional, get insightful. No one really cares about anyone. Is that not obvious to you yet? And even if they do care, they can not stop death. You should all enlist in the Marines to see how cheap life is.

Bush April 17, 2007 12:45 pm (Pacific time)

"Nothing" appears to be an excellent moniker for you. The unemployment rate is quite low, home ownership is at an historical high, even subprime loan defaults cannot overshadow the over 95% success stories for those loans. Economy is just humming along, best in Western civilization, but still we have crazies who commit these horrible types of crimes, and then we have the perennial crackpots who take tragic events and make them about themselves.

JLSELLE April 17, 2007 12:40 pm (Pacific time)

Apparently you must have some kind of insight into this guys mind as to "why" he performed these acts. Don't catagorize this individual's struggles with your own. Maybe you should have got an education from an institution instead of the school of hard knocks and you would really see how many job offers you would receive. Until you mix the Kool-Aid yourself you shouldn't try to sell it as a red flavor your unsure of. It could be cherry, strawberry, fruit punch, or cranberry. Make foolish comments and get stupid response 1st post.....

mike April 17, 2007 12:37 pm (Pacific time)

Are you serious? It is this american society we live in that no one cares about anyone else. Instead of offering sympathy for the dead, this guy is talking about how people can't get jobs so killing everybody will solve the problem. I guess life doesn't matter anymore. People like you, and the shooter are the kinds of people that take your frustration out on innocent victims who do not know you even exsit.

R U kidding me April 17, 2007 12:34 pm (Pacific time)

Nothing new under the sun is a loser who cares more for murderes than the victims. Happiness is not a right, the pursuit of it is. Yeah Yeah, it was society, drugs, video games, mommy issues whatever. I just wish these killers would just start with themselves and do us all a favor. Oh and by the way I am made of steel. Clark Kent.

Nothing New Under The Sun April 17, 2007 12:05 pm (Pacific time)

Do you see how useless a police state is? All of this paranoid security since 9/11 because there are very few jobs left domestically. So you either go into the military, become a security guard or work at any number of sweatshop corporations be it Home Depot, or WalMart, or Target or you local jackass supermarket that will not let you put in overtime or give you medical benefits. He comes from a culture where the traditional definitions of success and achievement are everything and to a immature mind it can be overwhelming. Maybe he could see that after college, he would send out a billion resumes and get on interview. That could make anyone loose it. He's only human...no different than you or I. Some different genes, a little different culture...we all have a breaking point....no one is made of steal. There are only jobs for very well trained people in very specific areas and you must be Tech savy or else.
