It was recently announced that former Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner would join Warburg Pincus, a private equity firm-----although Mr. Geithner had no experience whatever in the private equity field.
Writing in THE NEW REPUBLIC, Noam Scheiber noted that, "It's hard to believe that Geithner, with no investment or private sector experience, would be worth the millions he will surely earn each year if he didn't also turn heads at the highest levels of government."
Medical Teams International is responding to the disaster by shipping medicines and medical supplies and sending teams of medical volunteers to provide care; the organization will continue to mobilize teams as needed.

So many people bemoan the anguish of child sex trafficking, rape and abuse victims, yet 99% of the people do nothing about it.
