(RENO) - Distinguished Hindu statesman Rajan Zed has called for prayers for the Oso (Washington, USA) landslide victims.

Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, appealed to the Hindu community to hold special prayer sessions in Hindu temples all over USA.

Burglars Caught in the Act in Gates

(VALEN NORGE) - Michelle Byrom, 57, could be executed March 27 for a crime she did not commit. She was charged with hiring her son’s friend to kill her abusive husband. It is clear now that her son killed his abusive father.

Her son confessed in letters to her and to a court-appointed psychologist that he committed the crime. Byrom’s son is free on parole, and the man she supposedly hired is free.

Loaded Log Truck Crashes off Highway 204 west of Elgin into Phillips Creek

As the truck and trailer came out of a right curve, it traveled onto the shoulder and continued down the embankment into the river where it came to rest on its right side.

(PORTLAND) - A log truck driver received minor injuries Monday after losing control resulting in the truck and trailer loaded with logs coming to rest on their side in Phillips Creek along Highway 204 about a mile west of Elgin.

Oregon State Police the driver freed himself from the truck and got out on his own. He had minor injuries and was cited for Fail to Drive Within a Lane.
