They say a healthy sense of humor is very important in a relationship, and it looks like this couple will do just fine.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Hilarious wedding vows A couple's hilarious wedding video is making big strides on YouTube and in national media. The clip which is titled "waffle wedded wife" begins with a beautiful wedding scene, just before the couple-to-be offers their vows. The title of the clip gives you a clue, but you won't believe what happens.

The proud dad and father-in-law Tim Engstrom, who by the way is officiating the vows for the couple, explained that the wedding began with an organ player who didn't know when to stop playing.

Kidnapped Oregon Family Found Safe in Bakersfield, California

A combination of family and police efforts led to the safe recovery of four family members who were under threat by the alleged kidnapper.

(BAKERSFIELD, Calif.) - File photo of Kern County patrol car Salem Police say they were contacted by Kern County deputies in Bakersfield, California, over a family who had been kidnapped from the Salem area on Wednesday, August 12th.

They were found safe in Bakersfield Friday evening.

U.S. House Approves $12.1 Million for Dallas Armory

The Oregon National Guard had been pushing for the funding for years, and was quick to praise the funding announcement.

(DALLAS, Ore.) - Oregon National Guard Armory in Dallas The U.S. House of Representatives today approved $12.1 million to replace the Oregon National Guard’s Polk County Readiness Center, announced Congressman Kurt Schrader (D-OR) who requested the funding for the project. The funding was included in the Military Construction Appropriations bill that passed the House on Friday.

“This funding means badly needed construction jobs in the region” said Schrader. “But it’s also a critical part of our promise to take care of our brave soldiers and their families.”

19-Year Old Dallas Woman Dies in Crash

The incident remains under investigation and deputies say it is undetermined at this time exactly what caused the crash.

(DALLAS, Ore.) - Fatal crash Deputies say a Dallas woman died in a crash Saturday morning at 5:20 a.m. at 30500 North Fork Road SE.

Commander Kevin Schultz with the Marion County Sheriff's Office, says deputies arriving on the scene located a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt that had traveled approximately 80 feet down an embankment and into the North Santiam River.

FBI and Dallas Police Investigate Armed Bank Robbery

The FBI says the incident took place in Dallas, Oregon around noon Thursday.

(DALLAS, Ore.) - Image from a security camera at the Dallas robbery. A spokesperson with the Federal Bureau of Investigation says that around noon Thursday, a man robbed the Oregon First Commuity Credit Union located at 372 Ellendale Boulevard in Dallas, Oregon.

Elizabeth Steele with the FBI, says the suspect walked into the bank, approached the teller desk and demanded cash. "At that point, he showed the teller that he was carrying a silver handgun," Steele said.

Dallas Man Dies in Overnight Motorcycle Crash

Investigators say speed may have been a factor in the crash but the investigation is on-going at this time.

(PERRYDALE, Ore.) - Death investigation Polk County Sheriff's deputies say a man died in a motorcycle crash on Perrydale Road near the Orchard Knob Road intersection this morning at 4:30 a.m.

Polk County Sheriff's Office spokesman Dean Bender, says they received a missing person's report at approximately 1:38 a.m. from the Dallas Police Department, regarding a friend who borrowed a motorcycle earlier in the evening but failed to return.

(DALLAS, Ore.) - Car Plows Underneath Semi in Serious Injury Crash near Dallas, Oregon Police say a Salem-area man was seriously injured Friday afternoon when the car he was driving crashed into the side of a turning commercial trailer on Highway 99W at Clow Corner Road in Polk County.

Man Dies in Late Afternoon Crash Near Dallas (PHOTOS)

The fatal traffic crash happened on Highway 223, between Dallas and Highway 22.‏

(DALLAS, Ore.) - Fatal crash Oregon State Police say a Dallas-area man died and three other people were seriously injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 223 about one-half mile south of Highway 22.

Oregon State Police troopers are continuing the investigation and Highway 223 re-opened about five hours after the crash.

OSP Sergeant Derek Bischoff says the crash happened at approximately 4:20 PM, when a 1994 Eagle Vision four-door driven by 53-year old Domenic Fagundes of Grand Ronde, was southbound on Highway 223 near Fir Villa Road when it crossed the centerline and collided nearly head-on with a northbound 2001 Toyota Corolla driven by 27-year old Adam Raymond Schott of Dallas.
