(SALEM, Ore. ) - On Thursday, at about 3:00 p.m., the Polk County Inter Agency Narcotics Team served a search warrant at 1141 SW Fairview Ave in Dallas stemming from tips the team received starting at the beginning of May of this year.

The POINT team arrested 27-year-old Calvin Craver, who resides at 1141 SW Fairview Ave in Dallas as part of this investigation. During the search warrant service detectives located 19.8 grams of heroin and 23.6 grams of methamphetamine. Along with the heroin and methamphetamine detectives found numerous items used for packaging and weighing of drugs and a video surveillance system on the exterior of the house.

Polk County Sheriff's Office Sergeant and POINT supervisor Mark Garton said, "Evidence also suggests that the sales of methamphetamine and heroin from this residence have been ongoing for some time which has been a continual and substantial burden to the neighborhood and residents surrounding this house".

Sergeant Garton also said, "It is difficult for one agency in Polk County by itself to complete this type of investigation and have the same outcome as the POINT team did today and I am thankful for the investment that each agency provides to the team."

A 2005 Mercedes Benz was also seized that belonged to Craver.

Calvin Craver was lodged at the Polk County Jail and charged with the following crimes:

Unlawful Possession of Meth - Bail $15,000 Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine (Commercial drug offense) - Bail $40,000 Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine (substantial quantity) - Bail $25,000 Unlawful Possession of Heroin - Bail $25,000 Unlawful Delivery of Heroin (commercial drug offense) - Bail $500,000 Unlawful Manufacture of Heroin (substantial quantity) - Bail $40,000

What a load of garbage, there is no burden on the neighborhood, I bet if you asked his neighbors they would all tell you he was polite and he kept to himself, so what if he had surveillance equipment that just means he didn't want his stuff stolen. There are plenty of people with cameras on their property should all there doors be kicked in? He has been woorking 5 days a week saving every paycheck to pay for that car they confiscated. Once again this is a perfect example of our government over stepping its bounds. Does any one stop to think about the fact that this guy is going to be locked in a box for 1/3 - 1/2 of his life because he had some drugs... There stealing his life away for a crime with no victim. No one forces people to buy anything they don't want and wouldn't get somewhere else. Why isn't there near as much "diligence" spent on catching sex offenders? All they are given is a slap on the wrist and probation. While what he's doing is no different than a bar serving alcohol or a casino taking peoples money to gamble. They're are far more problems as a result of alcohol related accidents, and casinos taking every dime a person has don't get persecuted but what about they're families and such. The america of yesterday is dead, this heavy handed, hypocritical, money hungry machine is more interested in profit than bettering lives don't let them fool you.
