Russia Poised to Teach US Leaders Another Economic Lesson

"The institution of oversight and control has lost its value" - Vladimir Putin

(CHICAGO) - Russia and Putin For the past several years it seems that the world has spun into a strange Twilight Zone where everything is topsy-turvy and what went around is coming back in truly Mad Hatter style.

The latest evidence of this is the US federal government's foray into the minefield of unfunded dent obligations and massive deficits resulting in an expansion of the bureaucracy by historic numbers.

Will Hezbollah Defeat Israel (again!) in the Coming War

Part I: “Know thy enemy” (Sun Tzu)

(MARON AL RAS VILLAGE, Lebanon Border) - Akka, Palestine On a clear day you can see Akka, Palestine from my favorite Lebanese village, Maron al Ras, where more than a few analysts here conjecture that the next and 6th aggression by Israel against Lebanon will begin.

On any day, but particularly since 9/21/10, you can also see beefed up Zionist military patrols, assorted electronic listening posts, sundry spy devices...

A Cathedral of Avarice?

I often wonder how the Founding Fathers would view what has become of our country today.

(HARRISVILLE, N.H.) - Lincoln Cathedral What would make our elected representatives totally ignore the electorate they are supposed to be representing? What would make them insert pork barrel spending into every bill, thus crippling the U.S. taxpayer over time?

What is it that drives them to regularly make promises they know that they cannot keep? What makes them build alliances with entities that practice the very evils our country condemns?

The Cost of Telling the Truth in the United States

By firing the Cuban-American news anchor and host, CNN demonstrated that those who assert that the United States is a "beacon of freedom" just make baseless and unfounded claims.

(TEHRAN) - Rick Sanchez "Rick Sanchez is no longer with the company. We thank Rick for his years of service and we wish him well."

This frosty statement was the conclusion of Rick Sanchez's 6-year-long career with the United States' cable news network, CNN.

Israeli Invention for Electric Hair Removal Device Contributes to Female Happiness Worldwide

Rumors, insinuations and outright propaganda are a continuous challenge for truth.

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Elos treatment While attempting to read an article on the Haaretz website this afternoon about the brutality of the IDF takeover of the Gaza-bound boat Irene, filled with Jewish activists, I was distracted by an advertisement at the top of the page.

The ad featured a cheerful non-Israeli woman with bangs and a flowered scarf around her neck, a picnic scene in the background, and a skewer of meat oscillating at her side.

War and Peace with Ken O`Keefe

Ken O'Keefe and his brothers were the police last May, when they defended their ship, the Mavi Marmara, from Israeli military invaders. Nine men aboard Ken's ship were killed that night.

(SPOKANE, Wash.) - Salem-News.com One overnight accommodation on the Ken O'Keefe NW tour happened at an exquisite place of natural beauty called Soap Lake, Washington.

What a contrast that must be for someone who has seen the kind of needless death and oppression Ken has witnessed in this life of his...

Post-Earthquake Photos of Haiti by Daniel Cima

Incredible images from a still stricken land.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Haiti post-earthquake photos by Daniel Cima This past week in Washington, D.C., I met with award-winning Argentine photographer Daniel Cima, who spent over a month in Haiti following the January 2010 earthquake.

The following series of Cima’s photographs is an example of disaster-inspired creativity of a different nature than that espoused by hip-hop artist Wyclef Jean, who preferred to channel his artistic talents into a bid for the Haitian presidency before settling for a musical album entitled “If I Were President, the Haitian Experience”.
