It happened Sunday January 17th at the Renee & Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall, at the Orange County Performing Arts Center.

(COSTA MESA, Calif.) - Tranquility of a Mideast nation at peace: Iran As the United States enacts its latest sanctions against Iran, a group of Iranian-Americans gathered in Orange County that will highlight the accomplishments of this unique group.

In a remarkable setting, some of the most accomplished Iranian Americans visited the Orange County Performing Arts Center January 17th, to share their experiences with the next generation.

PAAIA Commends Iranian Americans for Speaking Out and Fox Sports for Issuing Apology

Iranian Americans and PAAIA outraged by "Derogatory Remarks" made on Fox Sports about NBA's Iranian player Hamed Haddadi.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Grizzlies’ Center Hamed Haddadi is Iranian On Wednesday November 18th, Fox Sports announcers Ralph Lawler and Michael Smith made terribly insensitive and inappropriate on-air remarks about Grizzlies’ Iranian center, Hamed Haddadi, during a broadcast of their game with the Los Angeles Clippers.

The announcers’ insulting remarks demonstrated a complete lack of cultural sensitivity and respect for Haddadi’s Iranian heritage, and have rightfully outraged the Iranian American community.

Iran to Test New Air Defense System

Russia and Iran clinched a deal on the sale of S-300 system in December 2007, but Russia has delayed delivery.

(TEHRAN PressTV) - Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi Iran is to test a new anti-aircraft defense system during a five-day aerial maneuver, the Iranian defense minister has said.

The large-scale maneuver, which was launched on Sunday, is mainly aimed at developing the country's aerial defenses against any potential attack on the country's nuclear plants.

Ties between Iranian Americans and Iran remain strong.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - The homeland of Iranian people In August of 2008, the Public Affairs of Alliance of Iranian Americans (PAAIA) commissioned Zogby International to conduct a national public opinion survey of Iranian Americans to gather, for the first time, accurate and timely information about the demographics and views of the Iranian American community.

The purpose of the 2008 survey was to provide PAAIA with the knowledge required to more effectively represent the Iranian American community, and to further inform and educate the American public at large, as well as U.S. policy makers and opinion makers about Iranian Americans.

Iran`s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad & NBC`s Ann Curry

Is it all about semantics?

(SALEM, Ore.) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Enough is enough. American politicians and newsrooms need to stop being so intent on stating that Iran has a nuclear weapons program, when there is no evidence of it.

The biggest problem is the eternal cultural barrier between the east and west. It cost us dearly during negotiations with Vietnam, and I have seen the problems associated with it first-hand in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Then I saw it last week when NBC's Ann Curry interviewed Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
