Man Arrested After Attempt to Elude in SE Salem

Troopers say they found a small amount of Hydrocodone and Oxycodone pills were also found in his clothing.

(SALEM) - Anthony R. Segura, age 35, from Salem A 35-year old Salem man was arrested early Thursday morning on multiple charges after reportedly attempting to elude state police troopers in SE Salem.

35-year old Anthony R. Segura was arrested, police say they found a loaded semi-automatic handgun in his car.

Salem Police Release More On Fatal Crash

26-year old Kelly Moore of McMinnville, died at the scene as did her 9-year old daughter Jasmine Moore.

(SALEM) - Fatal crash in Salem, Or 2-10-14 The Salem Police Department Traffic Control Unit is continuing its investigation into a crash that claimed the lives of one adult and one child on the evening of February 11 in southeast Salem.

Officers responded to the scene on Turner Rd SE, south of the intersection with Airway Dr. SE at approximately 6:17 pm.

Adult, Child Killed in Salem Crash, 3 More Suffer Life-Threatening Injuries (VIDEO)

Tragic head-on collision at Turner Rd SE and Airway Drive.

(SALEM) - Turner and Airway intersection sign UPDATED INFO: The Salem Police Department Traffic Control Unit is continuing its investigation into a crash that claimed the lives of one adult and one child on the evening of February 11 in southeast Salem.

The investigation revealed that a 1994 Ford Escort, driven by 28-year old Hannah Reitz of McMinnville, had been traveling northbound on Turner Rd when it crossed into the path of a southbound 1997 Ford F-150 pickup, driven by 32-year old Jason McMurphy of Turner, and was struck head on.

There were two adults and three children in the Ford Escort at the time of the crash. A passenger in the Ford Escort, 26-year old Kelly Moore of McMinnville, died at the scene as did her 9-year old daughter Jasmine Moore.

Injury Crash - Interstate 5 Southbound in Wilsonville Area

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

(WILSONVILLE) - Crash near Wilsonville, Oregon 11 Feb 2014 Oregon State Police and local emergency responders remain on scene investigating Tuesday morning's injury crash involving a commercial truck along the lanes of Interstate 5 near milepost 284 in the Wilsonville area.

A female inmate work crew member out of Multnomah County was injured and yaken to a local hospital for treatment.

At some point while the suspect was driving, the victim managed to escape the moving vehicle. She sustained additional injuries during the escape.

(CLACKAMAS) - Photos from Clackamas Co. Sheriff's Office Clackamas County Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating an aggressive kidnapping case that occurred in unincorporated Milwaukie on Monday, Jan. 27. The victim is safe in an area hospital.

The suspect -- an adult male around age 50, with gray hair, wire-rimmed glasses and a goatee or beard, wearing a dark navy-blue hooded jacket and driving a purple-colored minivan -- is still at large. Police are requesting the public's help to identify him.

Fatal Traffic Crash - Highway 223 south of Dallas in Polk County

The driver of the sport utility vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. His name will be released Friday morning.

(DALLAS) - Fatal crash near Dallas, Oregon 1-22-14 Oregon State Police (OSP) is continuing the investigation of Thursday afternoon's fatal traffic crash involving a loaded log truck and sport utility vehicle on Highway 223 about three miles south of Dallas.

The highway reopened about 5:00 p.m. and the names of the occupants in the log truck are released in this update.

Deputies Arrest Two After Reported Thirty Six Minute Pursuit

Exact details of this evening's events are still not available as this is an active investigation and deputies are on scene and investigating.

(DONALD, OR) - Marion County deputy pursuit ends in Donald Marion County Sheriff's Office Deputies arrested a male and a female after a thirty six minute pursuit.

What started as an investigation near Salem, labeled as a disturbance, quickly turned into a vehicle pursuit that ended on Ehlen Road NE near Interstate 5. There are no reported injuries as a result of the pursuit.
