Nepal: Alleged Torture and Ill-Treatment Inflicted by the Police on Mr. Khimlal Rijal

William Gomes urges Nepali officials to follow international human rights laws.

(SALEM) - Flag of Nepal Mr. Khimlal Rijal was arrested on 9 September 2012 on charges of snatching a gold chain and taken to the litigation section at Kaksi District Police Office (DPO).

At the police station the man is said to have been beaten with plastic pipes on his thighs, back and soles for about five minutes by about six policemen. Needless to say, this is clearly, if true, a terrible act of state terrorism that was undeserved and highly illegal under international law.

Assange Seeks to Avoid Paying the Price for Messing with America

The US quickly stepped in to educate the Ecuadorean coalition leaders as to the facts of Western Hemispheric imperial life.

(TASMANIA, Aust) - Julian Assange I’m sure most Americans are mighty proud of the fact that Julian Assange is so frightened of falling into the custody of the United States that he had to seek sanctuary in the embassy of Ecuador, a tiny and poor Third World country, without any way of knowing how it would turn out.

He might be forced to be there for years.

CIRCUMCISION: Captivity of a Sacrificial Caste

Ultimately, we’ve got to ask ourselves as a society if there’s still nothing sacred. And if the answer is yes, then I hope the lives of innocent children are always on the top of the list. John Douglas, FBI.[1]

(MONTEREY, CA) - CIRCUMCISION: Captivity of a Sacrificial Caste Circumcision’s main sacrificial caste is the child. Socially males are more sacrificial than females, though females are not exempt. With Cultural Imperialism spreading into non-circumcising societies the sacrificial caste becomes non-circumcised individuals within the host society.

Matriarchal and patriarchal functions cannot exist without the other.

Torture: Asian and Global Perspectives - a comment from an Editor

In this issue, the magazine takes an in depth look into Sri Lanka’s relationship with torture.

(HONG KONG) - Sri Lanka torture I was amazed at how quickly the pieces of Torture: Asian and Global Perspectives fell into place, turning an idea for a magazine into a quality, finished product.

When Nilantha Ilangamuwa, whom I’d previously worked with at the Sri Lanka Guardian, asked me to launch a magazine with him for the Asian Human Rights Commission, I knew I had to be a part of this project.

Hero on the Run: Julian Assange and his US Detractors

Who is the real criminal?

(LONDON) - Julian Assange WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange should be treated as a hero, not hunted as a criminal, because he has exposed US violations of domestic and international law.

My Confession of Hate

Human rights violators, your time in this world is drawing to a close.

(SALEM) - Tim King is not managing his anger toward human rights violators. The meaningful human being has a strong code, at all times in all respects with no exceptions. Those willing to do the devil's work get no free pass for 'following orders'.

I hate you if you support war crimes and human rights violations. I utterly abhor you if you stand for state terrorism and I am your enemy...
