Spokane Snaps Volcanoes Win Streak with 4-1 Victory

Entering Saturday night's contest, Thompson surrendered just one run in his past 13 innings of work.

(KEIZER, Ore. ) - Salem Keizer Volcanoes Having been outscored 28-11 in the first four games, the Spokane Indians were out for revenge in the final game of the five game series.

Tallying 11 hits, Spokane scored four runs and got a solid outing from starter Derek Thompson to salvage the series with a 4-1 win.

Forjet Fans 11 in Volcanoes Win over Spokane

Sanchez tied a baseball record with four strikeouts in the ninth inning.

(KEIZER, Ore. ) - Jason Forjet Howling winds out to left showed promise of an offensive night at Volcanoes Stadium, but Jason Forjet quickly rewrote the story as he struck out 11 Spokane batters en route to a 5-2 Volcanoes victory on Wednesday night.

"Today I had my breaking ball working for me, and I was throwing my fastball to both sides of the plate," Forjet said.

Volcanoes` Offense Erupts in 10-4 Victory over Spokane

(KEIZER, Ore. ) - Salem Keizer Volcanoes Salem-Keizer came into Tuesday night craving a win, as Tuesday marked the start of the second half of the season.

The Volcanoes' hunger for victory showed as they erupted for seven runs in the bottom of the fifth and went on to defeat the Spokane Indians 10-4 at Volcanoes Stadium.
