Volcanoes Offense Struggles Again; Drop to 0-3

Over the past two games, Salem-Keizer has left 18 runners on base.

(KEIZER, Ore. ) - The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes entered Sunday night's game searching for their first lead of the 2014 season. After another game against the defending champion Vancouver Canadians, the Volcanoes never found what they were looking for.

Vancouver scored two runs in the third inning and three runs in the fifth, all coming with two outs, as the Canadians defeated the Volcanoes 6-1 for their third straight win.

(KEIZER, Ore. ) - The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, in conjunction with the San Francisco Giants, released the initial 2014 roster Monday afternoon highlighted by 15 returning Volcanoes players.

The roster is made up of 27 players: 14 pitchers, three catchers, six infielders and four outfielders. Second-year manager Gary Davenport returns an experienced lineup to begin the Northwest League campaign Friday, June 13, against the three-time defending champion Vancouver Canadians.
