2-Year-Old Boy Found Safe in Home of Deceased Southeast Portland Woman

The Oregon State Medical Examiner has determined that the woman, 40-year-old Micaela Quinn, died of natural causes.

(PORTLAND, OR) - Death investigation This morning, Wednesday October 31, 2012, at 8:31 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct responded to a residence in the 10100 block of Southeast Long Street on the report of a deceased female inside the home.

Additionally, officers learned that a 2-year-old boy was alone in the residence.

Cycle Oregon has made buttons with Mark's photo on them available for volunteers and riders to wear during this year's ride.

(PORTLAND, OR) - Mark and other members of the Bosworth family With Cycle Oregon now underway in South Oregon, thoughts are turning to Mark Bosworth, the avid cyclist and longtime Cycle Oregon volunteer who disappeared during the event last year.

Mark, then 54 years old, went missing on the night of Friday, Sept. 16, near Riddle High School.

Portland Fire & Rescue Battles a 5-Alarm Blaze on Hayden Island

The fire was declared under control at 7:02 AM.

(PORTLAND, OR) - 5 alarm fire, Hayden Island Portland, Oregon At 2:53 this morning, Portland Fire & Rescue was dispatched to a commercial fire at 1401 N Hayden Island Drive. Engine 17 (Hayden Island) arrived to find that heavy fire had already vented through the roof. The fire grew to 5 alarms by 4:23 AM.

This building has been vacant and secure for a number of years, but has been used for storage, which created a heavy fire load.

FBI Raids Homes of Seattle and Portland Occupy Activists

A US newspaper has revealed that the FBI has been raiding the houses of anti-Wall Street protesters in Oregon and Washington in what the agency describes an “ongoing violent crime investigation.”

(TEHRAN) - FBI agents The Oregonian newspaper reported that heavily-armed domestic terrorism units of the FBI have been raiding the homes of activists in Seattle and Olympia, Washington and Portland, Oregon over the last month.

The report said that at least six homes have been raided in the two states since July 10.
