(SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.) - November 2018 marks the fortieth anniversary of the mass murder and suicide of 918 in Jonestown, Guyana, by religious cult leader Jim Jones. About two-thirds of the victims were African-Americans.

Jones was the founder and leader of the Peoples Temple, established in 1971.

(SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.) - Mr. former Vice President— or Dick, if you don’t mind — I was greatly disturbed to hear that you endorsed Gina Haspel or “Bloody Gina” as she has been affectionately called, for Director of the CIA, and your call to restart the use of torture, or as you once euphemistically called torture, “enhanced interrogation techniques.”

Shame on you Dick, torture is never justifiable.
