Pakistan Police Arrest Cleric who Accused Christian Girl Rimsha of Blasphemy

Today Qari Mohammad Khalid Chishti was sent to Jail on 14 days remand.

(ISLAMABAD, Pakistan) - Qari Khalid Chishti Pakistani police arrested a Muslim cleric Sunday night for planting evidence on a Christian girl accused of burning a Koran, purportedly to frame her.

Witnesses say the cleric tore pages from the Koran and planted them in the girl’s bag.

Medical Report of Christian Girl Accused of Burning Quran Challenged in Pakistani Court

Next hearing for the girl, Rimsha, will be on 1st of September, 2012.

(ISLAMABAD, Pakistan ) - Shamim Masih talking to Mr. Rehman apposing the Rimsha's case Doctors in Pakistan have examined a young Christian girl with Down's syndrome, who has been imprisoned on blasphemy charges.

The hearing started at 9:30 am and was adjourned after a few minutes. The case will be back in front of a judge until 1st September, 2012.

Pakistan: Gang-Rape, Murder of a Pakistani Christian Girl

Local media reports that the murdered Christian girl, Muqadas Kainat, was the oldest of seven children.

(SALEM) - The dead girl, Muqadas Kainat According to local media reports, a 12-year old Pakistani girl who went into a field to relieve herself was gang raped by several men and murdered just less than two weeks ago. At this point, police have not made any arrests.

There are few things more disturbing in this world that the wanton abuse of a child; particularly under these worst of circumstances.
