We never go long without hearing of a tragedy affecting a U.S. Marine. Sometimes they're casualties in terrible battles overseas, sometimes they are killed in a hail of gunfire by police in a case of mistaken identity, and sometimes they're victims of police for taking a stand and using their rights as Americans to take a political stand.
