Edwards Gets First Road Course Win at Sonoma

Edwards held off Jeff Gordon by .592 seconds.

(SONOMA, Calif. ) - Carl Edwards Carl Edwards won the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway on Sunday, marking the first road course victory of his career.

Edwards, who led 26 laps, became the fifth multi-race winner of 2014; he also won at Bristol in March. Edwards now has 23 Sprint Cup Series wins in his career.

McMurray Sets Track Record to Win Sonoma Pole

Kyle Larson, McMurray's teammate at Chip Ganassi Racing, qualified third at 95.942 mph for his first Sprint Cup road race.

(SONOMA, Calif.) - Jamie McMurray Jamie McMurray saved the best for last on Saturday in winning the pole for Sunday's Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway in record time.

The last driver to make his first attempt in the 10-minute second round of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series knockout qualifying, McMurray knocked AJ Allmendinger off the provisional pole for the first road course race of the season.

Jimmie Johnson Finally Wins at Michigan

Kevin Harvick, who started on the pole, led a race-high 63 laps and finished second.

(BROOKLYN, Mich.) - After a sluggish start to the season, Jimmie Johnson is on fire.

Johnson won the Quicken Loans 400 at Michigan International Speedway for the first time in his career on Sunday after leading 39 of the 200 laps.

Kevin Harvick Sets MIS Track Record to Win Pole

Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt, Aric Almirola, and Paul Menard at 203.040 round out the top five.

(BROOKLYN, Mich.) - Kevin Harvick won the pole for the Quicken Loans 400 with a track record speed of 204.557 miles per hour.

He easily surpassed the former record of 203.949 mph established by Joey Logano in preparation for the Pure Michigan 400 last August at MIS.

NASCAR: Dale Jr. Hangs On After Late Pass to Win at Pocono

It was Earnhardt Jr.'s second win of the season and his first-ever win at the Tricky Triangle.

(LONG POND, Pa.) - Dale Earnhardt Jr. passed Brad Keselowski with five laps to go and held on to win the Pocono 400 at Pocono Raceway on Sunday.

Joining Earnhardt Jr. and Keselowski in the top five were Kurt Busch, Denny Hamlin and Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender Kyle Larson.

Denny Hamlin is a four-time winner at Pocono.

(LONG POND, Pa.) - Denny Hamlin set a new track qualifying record, in the first-ever knockout qualifying session at Pocono Raceway on Friday. With a speed of 181.415 MPH. He will lead the field to green on Sunday in the Pocono 400.
