Police Say Renter Pulled Pistol on Deputies Serving Eviction Notice

The man was taken to Portland Adventist Hospital.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - An Oregon man reportedly pulled a gun on deputies serving an eviction notice this morning and then turned suicidal. It is a sad story and the way it developed was called an unusual turn of events.

Deputies in Multnomah County Sheriff's Office were serving an eviction around 10:00 AM at the Mountain View Apartments on SE Division Street when 62-year old Kenneth F. Danneman pulled a gun out from his rear pocket, according to reports.

Suspect Takes $1,000 in Wood Village Bank Robbery

Police say the man matches the description of a suspect in two other recent robberies in the Portland area.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Suspect in today's Wood Village bank robbery, Portland Oregon 6 26 07 Police say a white male suspect robbed the Washington Mutual Bank in the Wood Village Fred Meyer store today just before noon, making off with ten crisp hundred dollar bills.

Lt. Jason Gates with the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office says the suspect handed a note to the teller indicating he wanted all the money she had, but no weapons were observed or implied.

Police Arrest Sandy Woman for Trying to Mail Drugs into Multnomah County Jail

The woman has previous convictions for Theft First Degree, and Theft Second Degree.

(PORTLAND, Ore. ) - Andrea Roselle photo On Wednesday, a Multnomah County Inverness Jail Deputy notified the assigned Corrections Division Detective that a suspicious letter had been intercepted during mail inspection.

The letter, addressed to inmate Bernard Roselle, was discovered to have suspicious matter hidden within that was suspected to be Marijuana and Methamphetamine.

Upon examination the detective discovered the letter had a return name and address to an address in NE Portland that did not exist.

Children’s Farm Home Sued for Alleged Child Abuse Acts of Former Executive Director

The offender, now a convict, kept coded markings on all his files of children that he was sexually interested in or involved with.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Old building at the Children's Farm Home in Corvallis, Oregon A Salem man has filed a $5 million childhood sexual abuse suit in Multnomah County against the Children’s Farm Home and its parent corporation, Trillium Family Services, for abuse he says he suffered as a boy in the years 1977-79 at the hands of William “Hank” Dufort, former Executive Director of the Home.

The man alleges he was abused “countless” times over the three years. The man, now 45-years old, alleges that as a result of the abuse he experienced significant emotional and psychological damage, according to attorney Kelly Clark of Portland, who filed the suit.

Human Skull Found Near Trail at Multnomah Falls

There is some speculation the remains may be archaeological, but it is impossible to tell until the forensic examination has been conducted.

(MULTNOMAH FALLS, Ore.) - Multnomah Falls, Oregon Hikers found the remains of a human skull while exploring off the main trail near the top of Multnomah Falls Sunday.

A Multnomah County Deputy responded to the location at about 6:30 PM, and secured the scene overnight until the MCSO Detectives unit and the Multnomah County Medical Examiner could investigate in daylight.

Inmate Bolts from Oregon Courtroom; Quickly Captured by Police

Deputy Morrisey-O'Donnell was right on Trent's heels in foot pursuit.

(PORTLAND) - Wayne Michael Trent While being ordered into custody at the Justice Center Courthouse on Monday, Wayne Michael Trent initially appeared cooperative as MCSO Corrections Deputy Nicole Morrisey-O'Donnell approached him with handcuffs out.

Dep. Morrisey-O'Donnell observed Trent place his hands behind his back reading his body language as cooperative.

Suddenly, without warning, Trent bolted toward the court room door allegedly attempting to escape.

Long-Time Multnomah County Deputy Behind Bars on Multiple Charges

The Deputy was booked, then moved to an undisclosed jail outside Multnomah County.

(PORTLAND) - Deputy Erich Watson A 25-year veteran of the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office was arrested Tuesday. 57-year old Erich Watson, a Corrections Deputy from Portland, is charged with Official Misconduct in the First Degree (class A Misd.), Custodial Sexual Misconduct in the Second Degree (class A Misd.) and Possession of a Controlled Substance II – cocaine (class C Fel.).

Watson’s arrest was a result of an ongoing investigation conducted by the East County Major Crimes Team.
