Dalton’s Law Approved by House Judiciary Committee

Once enacted, Dalton’s Law would require vehicle location services to provide vehicle location information to law enforcement when life is danger or when crimes are committed.

(SALEM) - Missing poster for Dalton Robertson Oregon State Representative Donna Nelson (R-McMinnville) celebrated an important milestone towards enacting Dalton’s Law.

House Bill 3176, named after the late Dalton Robertson, was unanimously approved by the House Judiciary Committee and will now proceed to the floor of the House of Representatives for a vote.

83-Year Old Man Reported Missing From Gold Beach on Oregon Coast

83-year old William Glenn Boyer is from Gold Beach.

(GOLD BEACH, Ore.) - 83-year old William Glenn Boyer Police on the Oregon coast are looking for an 83-year old man who was last seen around noon on Saturday.

Family members of William Glenn Boyer say he had left the family home on Ocean View Drive in the Harbor area at about noon on Saturday, April 21st.

These family members say they became concerned that Mr. Boyer, who needs medicine on a daily basis, had not returned.

Body Identified As Missing Keizer Woman

The investigation into this suspicious death continues.

(KEIZER) - Leslie Diane Kaltenbach The Keizer Police Department has positively identified the deceased subject who was found in the 8500 block of Windsor Island Road North on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at about 2:15 PM as 36-year old Leslie Diane Kaltenbach.

Ms. Kaltenbach was a divorced mother from Salem who had two teenage children, a son and a daughter. According to reports, she always made visiting with her children a priority – something that had not happened since her disappearance.

She was supposed to have visited a family member in Oregon City on the night of April 4th, but never arrived. Family members contacted the Keizer Police Department on April 18th at 10:50 AM to report her as missing.

U.S. Airmen Missing in Action from Vietnam War Identified

In 2005, teams found Getchell's identification tag, human remains and additional crew-related items at the crash site.

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - B-57B Canberra bomber The Department of Defense POW/Missing Personnel Office announced on Tuesday, that the remains of two U.S. servicemen, missing in action from the Vietnam War, have been identified and will be returned to their families for burial with full military honors.

They are Col. Norman D. Eaton, of Weatherford, Okla., and Lt. Col. Paul E. Getchell, of Portland, Maine, both U.S. Air Force.

On Jan. 13th, 1969, Eaton and Getchell crewed a B-57B Canberra bomber participating in a nighttime attack on targets in Salavan Province, Laos.

Police, CAP, Searching Oregon Coast for Missing Elderly Man

He was driving a dark green 1996 Ford Winstar van with Oregon licence plates WHQ-846.

(GOLD BEACH, Ore. ) - civil air patrol plane The Oregon Civil Air Patrol is continuing a missing person search with a Cessna 182 search aircraft from Bend in support of the Curry County Sheriff in their continuing search for an 83-year-old Harbor, Oregon man, William Boyer

Boyer was last seen leaving his home on Saturday afternoon , April 21st , when he left to attend a Marine Corps League meeting at the Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Brookings.

The former Marine, who requires daily medication, reportedly did not arrive at the church.

Candlelight Vigil Announced for Memory of Laura Smither and Billboard Released in Unsolved Adre`anna Jackson Case

The "Remember Laura Smither Public Vigil" happens April 3rd.

(FRIENDSWOODS, TX.) - Laura Smither A candlelight vigil April 3rd in Texas will honor a little girl who was murdered in 1997. It will be held at 7:00 PM. on Tuesday, at Stevenson Park in Friendswood, Texas. The public is invited to the event which will commemorate the 10th anniversary of Laura Smither's abduction and murder.

Lakewood, Washington Police announced new billboards in the unsolved case of Adre'anna Jackson. A billboard unveiling took place at Union Avenue and Center Street in Tacoma, Washington. Attending the event were all representatives from all participating agencies.

AMBER Alert Issued in Washington UPDATED

UPDATE: The vehicle in this case was located with nobody inside at 9:05 AM in Stevens County, Washington. Deputies are checking the area for the children and the suspects.

(WALLA WALLA, Wa.) - Amber Alert logo Children that Washington authorities say were taken by their natural father may be in extreme danger due to the man's unstable mental condition.

The children and the suspect were last seen in Waitsburg, Washington at approximately 4:00 PM on Saturday, March 24th. Police say the suspect is the children's biological father. Due to recent mental issues, they believe the children are in immediate danger. His vehicle is a two-tone brown 1978 Volkswagon Van with Washington license plate number 349NRK.

Update: Amber Alert Cancelled in Washington

Police say they were never able to establish a victim in the incident that was reported by a small child.

(EVERETT, Wa.) - Amber alert Police in Everett, Washington say a student from Discovery Elementary witnessed a male grab a boy and force him into his vehicle.

It reportedly happened at 11700 Meridian Ave on Monday at 8:00AM.

But at this point they have lifted the Amber Alert, as the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office has been unable to indentify a victim and has no further information on a possible missing child.

The boy is described as a 5 to 7-year old, 3 foot 6 inches tall, unknown weight or hair color. He was wearing a dark colored knit cap, and a dark colored coat. He also had a backpack.

Body Found on Umpqua River Identified as Missing OSU Student

Positive identification was made through a dental records match.

(MEDFORD) - Jeff Schmidt The Oregon State Medical Examiner's Office has positively identified the body found Thursday afternoon in the North Umpqua River as 22-year-old Jeffrey Schmidt, from Medford.

Schmidt had been missing since a November 19th, 2006 traffic crash in that area.

Schmidt and his girlfriend Quinn Do Truong were traveling together November 19th when their Jeep Wrangler went over an embankment and into the North Umpqua River.

Still No Sign of Missing Elderly Oregon Woman

If you see Kline or her vehicle call 911.

(OREGON CITY) - The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office continued the search today for missing 80-year-old Dena Kline and her 1990 teal-colored Honda (Idaho license plates K332915).

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Marine Unit continued searching along the upper Willamette River -- particularly in the area of the Canby Ferry and Hebb Park.

No new signs of Dena Kline were discovered along this portion of the Willamette River.
