Agent Orange Exposure Appears to Double Risk of Invasive Skin Cancer

(HOUSTON) - Mark Clemens, MD Even four decades later, veterans exposed to Agent Orange during the Vietnam War have twice the risk of developing unusually invasive nonmelanotic skin cancers compared with the general population, according to a recent study.

“We noticed a lot of veterans coming into our clinic had very aggressive squamous and basal cell carcinomas, and it seemed like there was a connection to Agent Orange exposure...” said Mark Clemens, MD, at Univ. of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

What is needed is a repeal of the McCarran-Fergusan Act exemption for the health insurance industry.

(SAN FRANCISCO) - repeal of the McCarran-Fergusan Act The Patient Protection Act and the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare) seems to be working. Admittedly, this is not a universal view.

But as of the March 31st deadline, it appears that the goal of 7 million signees may have been reached. This is quite an achievement considering the computer glitches encountered by consumers along the way.
