PTSD CAN KILL YOU

PTSD is buried deep in our brains just like the best of our memories.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Salem-News.com I was relieved today, July 17, 2009, to see that the Oregonian, Dr. Karen Seal of The University of California, San Francisco and The American Journal of Public Health have finally caught up with me about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and suicides. I have been writing about this upcoming PTSD catastrophe for at least 2 years.

I accidentally became an expert about PTSD and suicides when I took care of upwards of 1000 PTSD Veteran victims in the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program.

PTSD and Pernicious, Pusillanimous Prejudice Propaganda

One doctor with heavy influence seems to think PTSD Victims get over it “in a few years”. I just read of a U.S. Ranger, at Point du Hoc on D-Day in 1944, who STILL HAS PTSD.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Rejected veteran This article is about Dr. Sally Satel of the American Enterprise Institute who pretends she knows “something” about PTSD, Veterans and successful medical treatment.

She is misinformed and/or wrong on all counts and I will relay to the reader where she is wrong.

U.S. Congress Ends Decade-Long Obstruction of D.C. Medical Marijuana Law

Changing times in the nation's capitol.

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Washington D.C. at night The U.S. House today passed legislation that removes a decade-old provision that has prevented Washington, D.C., from implementing the medical marijuana law passed by 69 percent of capital voters in 1998.

Known as the Barr amendment, the provision has forbidden the city from extending legal protection to qualified medical marijuana patients and has been derided by advocates for years as an unconscionable intrusion by the federal government into the District's affairs.

PTSD Therapy and Cannabis: Fantasy, Fiction & Fact

Many Vietnam PTSD Vets told me that cannabis/marijuana worked better than any pharmaceutical they were given. I have been given several of these medications and while taking them I would NOT be able to write articles like this.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - HMWVV in Iraq As many of my readers know, I have PTSD myself some 64 years after battle exposure in WWII. I am also a retired Medical School Professor of Physiology, Pharmacology and Toxicology.

Both backgrounds give me an avid interest in effective PTSD Therapy. I have also successfully treated maybe as many as 1000 PTSD Victim Veterans.

PTSD: Capt. Sullenberger and Ditching in the Hudson River - Reprise

Capt. Sullenberger had many nights of disturbed sleep after what he calls “the worst five minutes of my life”. I and other Combat Vets can sympathize with that. We had it every mission or artillery barrage.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Salem-News.com There is so much denigrating and downright ignorance about PTSD, its causes and long term effects, that I feel compelled to continually write about it.

CBS News, 60 Minutes, replayed the interviews following this astonishingly dangerous but important event. I wrote at the time, see Salem-News.com, that Capt. Sullenberger would certainly have substantial PTSD from such a frightening and anguish producing event.

Walking the Last Free Mile with Eddy Lepp

Eddy tried claiming medical and religious protections but the arguments were not allowed in Federal Court.

(PISMO BEACH, Calif.) - Eddy Lepp Today Eddy Lepp called me at about 10:30 a.m. and said they were getting ready to pass through Pismo Beach. I hopped into my car and caught up with them on the freeway and followed them to Lompoc.

Medical Marijuana Therapy and Doctorous Ignoramous Profundus

Some California doctors say "all marijuana use is medical". It certainly seems very effective for coping and the euphoria from a medical dose is extremely beneficial for patients in extreme pain, or suffering from cancer or AIDS.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Salem-News.com Excuse my lousy Latin, but I hope you get the idea.

I'm writing this in response to a recent article by a Professor of Psychiatry in a prominent East Coast medical school but my remarks are directed at about 75 percent of physicians in the U.S. The article had more incorrect information that I thought possible from a Professor Psychiatry.

Hemp Hemp Hemp: Becoming Legal, Its Time Has Come

A wise move by the government means harnessing the most useful plant known to man.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Industrial hemp being farmed. Hoorah Hoorah Hoorah! This is an Army exaltation, like when the whole Company, Battalion or Regiment gets a pass. It didn’t happen very often, just like this very historic event!

Hemp is one of the most valuable crops ever found and grown by man. The fiber is the best rope and clothing material ever found, more versatile than Silk or Cotton. Hemp seeds are the best human and animal foods ever found. Hemp seed oil was the fuel for the first Diesel engine and can enable us to be free of the Arab stranglehold on our wallets for gasoline and truck fuel.
