Questions and Answers About Medical Marijuana (VIDEO)

The Doctor is in, answering questions about the fast-evolving, yet ancient, medical remedy.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Dr. Phil Leveque and Bonnie King Dr. Phil Leveque has been around medical marijuana for over fifty years. He was first introduced to it by a professor at the Oregon Medical School who needed a closet cleaned out. Among the old stuff to be hauled off was a big bottle of cannabis cough syrup.

One day shortly after that he became sick, and remembered the medicine made of marijuana that was in fact really old, dating from pre-prohibition years when cannabis was a mainstay in American medicine.

Marijuana/Cannabis for Pain and PTSD Part 1
Best, Safest, Least Addicting

Pain is the scourge of man and ALL other animals.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Medical marijuana I’m not writing about a toothache, a bruise or even a small cut. I’m not even writing about acute pain. However, this is a great overlap and acute pain/injury can develop into severe chronic pain.

That is what I’m writing about. Pain of both kinds can be graded on a scale of 1 to 10 with one being more of a nuisance but ten being so severe that it causes unconsciousness or even death by shock.

CBD and MRSA

Research into what CBD can do is still all but forbidden. Cannabis prohibition, based on the twisted racism and greed of long-dead rich men, is still going strong.

(NORTHERN, Calif.) - MRSA in human blood Just before I started this article, I ran a quick news search on MRSA, just to see if there had been a story posted on it in the last week or so.

To my utter surprise, there were a half-dozen articles for today alone! MRSA may not be in the headlines at the moment, but it is still very much with us.

Gil Kerlikowske is a Damned Liar

I swear, it is like grade school with these big important federal guys, it's like they haven't learned a thing in spite of what the society is very clearly telling them.

(SALEM, Ore.) - What does a government do when law enforcement sees itself as an institution above the law? The new "Drug Czar", which is a stupid term if there ever was, Gil Kerlikowske, is a dinosaur in this day and age.

Along with groups like the California Narcotic Officer's Association, he is working to undermine state laws that clearly have accepted marijuana's medical applications.

Agent Orange and Dioxins: The Most Destructive, Poisonous Substances Ever Found

One of our reader/correspondents, Chuck Palazzo, just brought to our attention that Agent Orange, actually DIOXINS, have been re-discovered to cause all sorts of damage to humans.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Salem-News.com I believe I had the first human DDT insecticide poisoning case in the US in about 1952.

The patient was a “cropduster” pilot spraying mosquito swamps in Portland, Oregon. He filled the sprayer tanks with DDT in oil with 5 gallon cans and spilled it all over himself.

PTSD: Cannabis Therapy vs Marijuana Therapy

Marijuana, especially by inhaling its vapor, is far superior and quicker, that is in seconds, than any oral preparation which requires almost an hour to take effect.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Marijuana plants I get cajoled frequently by intelligentsia and pseudo-intelligentsia, “why don’t you use the scientific term Cannabis instead of the slang term Marijuana?”.

Medical Marijuana Use & Benefits: a Reprise

A story about the founding fathers of medical marijuana.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - The Emperor Has No Clothes My recent article on this subject brought a barrage of patient replies. The most notable was by Jack Herer author of The Emperor Has No Clothes, the BEST big book about the complete history of cannabis/marijuana. He invoked the name of Dr. Tod Mikuriya, the Guru and Father of the American Medical Marijuana Programs.

We owe very much to these two people – more than we can ever repay. Dr. Mikuriya wrote the book, The Marijuana Papers which is probably the most cited book on the subject.
