New Poll Finds Oregon Voters Ready to Legalize Marijuana

51 percent of those polled support making the personal use of marijuana legal, with only 41 percent in opposition.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Salem-News.com With less than six months until election day, Oregon voters are on the verge of legalizing recreational marijuana, according to polling data released this week.

As many as three separate initiatives could appear on the November ballot asking voters to legalize marijuana.

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - After years of effort and six previous tries, an unprecedented victory has finally happened.

Congress on Thursday night approved a measure that will prevent the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration from interfering with state medical marijuana laws. Wrongful Deaths at the VA: VA Pays $200 Million in Malpractice Claims

If the "troops" are so important, why does it take the US Gov't so long to act?

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - VA hospitals When the wrongful death malpractice claims at the Phoenix V.A. Hospital hit the news it was all about Phoenix...Phoenix...Phoenix with 40 dead veterans waiting for a diagnosis, not even medical care, which would have prolonged or saved their lives. The report includes information from about 175 VA Hospitals and found that almost all of them had dozens of inadequate care and wrongful deaths. All of this should NOT be happening!

The V.A. has paid out a high amount for their medical malpractice claims but it seems to feel that it is someone else's money. None of the malpractice doctors have paid out a cent which seems to be a gross and bad disincentive!

Oregon`s Grassroots Cannabis Campaign Moves Forward

Legal use of cannabis will stop needless police action and bring in money to the State of Oregon.

(SALEM) - marijuana clones Initiative Petitions 21 and 22, The Oregon Cannabis Amendment and The Oregon Cannabis Tax Act, headed by The Campaign for the Restoration and Regulation of Hemp (CRRH), are in the race for the July 3 deadline.

Initiative 21 would end criminal penalties for cannabis, while Initiative 22 regulates and taxes cannabis, including hemp for industrial and agricultural uses.
