Second Shooting This Week for Marion County Deputies

The names of the deputies and the man the shot have not yet been released.

(SALEM) - A man was shot by deputies this morning south of Salem in Turner, Oregon. A spokesman for Marion County called the injuries non-life threatening.

According to initial reports, it began when a man was observed sitting in a red Chevy Nova on the Illahee Bridge near Enchanted Forest. The man was shot shortly after being confronted by deputies.

(SALEM) - Emergency personnel are on the scene of an officer-involved shooting in Salem. The location is reported to be near the intersection of Fircrest and Wiltse SE.

The law enforcement agency involved in the shooting is the Marion County Sheriff's Office.

Suspect Arraigned In Salem Murder Investigation

Investigators are confident that there is no risk to the safety of the community and no suspects are being sought in connection with the child's death.

They originally responded to a report of a gunshot being fired in a residence in the 10000 block of Main Street NE, in Donald.

The deceased victim in this incident has been identified as 32-year old McMinnville resident Andrew Entizne.

The victim was located in a silver sedan at about 3:00 a.m. near the intersection of Fairway Dr SE and Reese Hill Rd SE following multiple reports of shots fired in the area.
