Oregon Prison Escapee, Accomplice Arrested Tuesday Night

Officials are not sure if Teixeira was in the exercise yard, or inside the prison at the time of the escape.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - The inmate who walked away from a Salem, Oregon prison Saturday afternoon with the help of a female accomplice are now both behind bars.

Police arrested 34-year-old Jerry Teixeira, and his accomplice 27-year-old Lacy Evans, Tuesday evening just after 10:30 p.m. in Stayton.
