Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence Rates President Obama`s First Year

Group says Obama’s avoidance of the issue so far is remarkable for many reasons.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Obama in a cowboy hat In his first year as President, Barack Obama’s continuing concessions to the “guns anywhere” mentality of the gun lobby and lack of leadership for common-sense gun laws has earned him a grade of “F” from the nation’s leading group fighting to prevent gun violence.

The last such book was The User Illusion Tors Nørretranders which I found (by accident) in a book store in May, 1998.

The Canadian Comparison: Speaking Truth to U.S. Power

What goes around, comes around and it looks like America has returned to its individualistic selfish roots which benefit only a favoured few.

(CALGARY, Alberta) - Salem-News.com Bank robber Willy Sutton was allegedly asked why he robbed banks. He reportedly answered: Because that’s where the money is.

If you were to ask the tens of millions of immigrants—legal, illegal and aspiring, why they want to go to America, they would answer in a chorus: Because that’s where the money is; nothing to do with the Constitution or the Bill of Rights, but simply because that’s where the money is. Poor people have a gratuitous need for money.

"We are in a battle for the hearts and minds of our own troops" - Direct quote from Oath Keepers

(CINCINNATI, Ohio) - Photo courtesy: thedonovan.com A few months ago there was a controversy that got just as much a radical reception from the right-wing as the tea parties and Fox news coverage of the never ending Health Care debate.

The controversy I'm really talking about is when the Director of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano was pressured by right-wing talk radio commentators and other conservative mouth pieces like the American Legion, to apologize to America's Veterans and Troops for something that actually is a real threat.

Fixing Democracy

It may have been just an opium dream, but I have figured out the way to fix democracy.

(CALGARY, Alberta) - Statue of Liberty There’s a piece going around the internet these days—I received it twice in the last week—allegedly written by Charley Reese who was reportedly a journalist for forty-nine years. It’s called “545 people”.

His argument is simple. The problem with politics is the politicians.
