The Oregon State Fair once again became Oregon’s second largest city over the course of its 11-day run with a 2.4% increase over 2007.
(SALEM, Ore.) -
More than 365,000 people attended the 2008 Oregon State Fair according to estimates released by organizers, who noted the 2.4 percent increase over 2007’s attendance would have been even larger had there not been two days of "liquid sunshine".

Organizers of the 2006 Oregon State Fair have set aside two days to recognize the service and sacrifice of Oregon veterans. The designated ‘Veterans' Appreciation Days' are set for the first weekend of the Fair, Saturday, August 26th and Sunday, August 27th.
