Documents reveal US money trail to Egyptian groups that pressed for president's removal.

(BERKELEY, CA) - Egyptian protesters tear down the US flag during a demonstration at the US Embassy in September 2012 [EPA] President Barack Obama recently stated the United States was not taking sides as Egypt's crisis came to a head with the military overthrow of the democratically elected president.

But a review of dozens of US federal government documents shows Washington has quietly funded senior Egyptian opposition figures who called for toppling of the country's now-deposed president Mohamed Morsi.

The Arabs And Their Spring

What happened? Why did the "Arab Spring" turn into a regional winter? Why didn't the Egyptian democracy last more than a year?

(LONDON) - Arab Spring It is not a secret that summer skipped Europe this year and some meteorologists even predict a sun eclipse for the next seven to ten years. When asked to explain this dire prediction a few experts ended up blaming the Arabs, ‘it is all because of the Arabs, they took all the spring.’

Joking aside, looking at the Arabs and their "Spring" reveals a chilling sight. It is basically an ongoing bloodbath.

Egyptians; Manipulated to Revolt?

I have no sympathy for any group anywhere that seeks power from narrower viewpoints such as ethnicity or religion. So this is not a requiem for Mohamed Morsi.

(UGANDA) - Morsi supporters in Egypt If the detest for Mohamed Morsi’s Muslim Brotherhood came genuinely from Egyptians, I would welcome it since I detest ideologies constructed around ethnicity and religiosity.

However, I simply can’t buy the economy as an excuse to sack Morsi.

African Opposites: Morsi and Mandela

We can only speculate the possible outcome if Morsi was moreso like Mandela and took a page out of his populist book.

(SALEM) - Mandela and Morsi The people's voice prevailed at both ends of the African continent. Those polar opposites, as history will render in its final report, came from South Africa and Egypt. Both had its champions of causes, one for Human Rights; the other for domination by his faith.

We are of course speaking of the vast contrast between Nelson Mandela, a onetime Nobel Peace Prize winner, and Mohammed Morsi, just ousted as the President of Egypt.

Egypt Walks Out of Nuclear Talks in Geneva

Arabs want Israel to give up its unacknowledged arsenal of nuclear weapons.

(GENEVA al Jazeera) - Israel's Dimona Nuclear Reactor Dome Egypt walked out of global nuclear talks in protest over failure to implement a 1995 resolution for a Middle East as a zone free of nuclear weapons.

Egypt's foreign ministry ended its participation out of frustration that the zone has yet to be created.
