I was responsible for the U.S. Department of Energy’s broad range of renewable energy electricity programs for several years during the Clinton Administration. “Who Are My People?” is well worth watching.

It presents the concerns of several Native American (NA) tribes related to the placement of a number of solar power tower generating facilities on federally-owned areas of the Mojave Desert.

In 2003, we established a dance team and historical art movement for the community of Gaza, and started performing and spreading the art of dance around the Strip.

After the 2009 war, we found our rented dance studio bombed and demolished. But we did not to give up on our dancing.

Israel is not colonialism. Colonialism is a clear exchange between a mother state and a settler state. Israel is a settler state, yet there is no Jewish mother state.

He used to be known for shooting humorous commercials, but as he learned more about the world and why things are the way they are, he found less to laugh about, and instead found his passion about sharing the truth.

He spent his final years using his vast experience to shed light on the events of 9/11 and the terrible world events that have since followed.

Merkley: Stronger Net Neutrality Rules Are Huge Step Forward

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Net neutrality Oregon’s Senator Jeff Merkley released the following statement after FCC Chair Tom Wheeler announced his proposal for stronger net neutrality rules, classifying the Internet as a telecommunications service under Title II of the 1996 Telecommunications Act, and allowing for an open Internet.

Merkley had pushed Wheeler to use Title II for a stronger approach to net neutrality that would better protect consumers and American innovation.

Survivors of the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp in Poland were liberated by the Soviet Red Army after more than 1 million people were killed.

(SAN FRANCISCO) - holocaust remembrance day We have seen newsreels of the liberation of the Nazi concentration camps at the end of WW II and a number of movies depicting the horrors of the Holocaust. However, newsreels and movies did not really prepare us for an actual visit to the site of the largest mass murder in history.

As many as 1.5 million were murdered at Auschwitz, mainly Polish Jews, but also Soviet prisoners-of-war, Gypsies, Czechs, Yugoslavs, French, Austrians, and Germans.
