One defendant faces a possible maximum statutory sentence of 474 years imprisonment and a $10.9 million fine.

(PHILADELPHIA) - Woman in handcuffs Federal law enforcement officials today announced the unsealing of a superseding indictment charging two in a large-scale illicit Internet pharmacy operation.

The superseding indictment charged Carleta Carolina and Wayne White with conspiracy to distribute controlled substances and other charges.

Among the latest victims was 18-year old Esmeralda Bretado Perez, 7 months pregnant, killed May 4 on a soccer field.

(CIUDAD, Juarez) - Crosses like this represent the vast number of women who have died at the hands of abusers in Juarez, Mexico. On the eve of Mother’s Day 2010, relatives of women murdered in Ciudad Juarez and their allies chalked up another victory on the international front.

By a vote of 359 to 235, with 17 abstentions, the European Parliament approved an amendment to its strategic plan for Latin American relationships that cites an international court verdict on the Ciudad Juarez femicides.

Juarez Chief Medical Examiner Gunned Down in Cold Blood Outside Home

The Medical Examiner Chief in Juarez is shot at nearly point blank range outside the door of his house

(CIUDAD / SALEM) - Salem-News.com The Mexican news agency LaPolaka reports that a ministerial officer was shot dead Thursday night at his home.

It was learned that the victim is a crime scene expert, later identified as Angel Luis Gonzalez. Mr. Gonzalez was the head of the Forensic Medical Service.

How many have to die before something changes? The answer seems far away.

(CIUDAD / SALEM) - Recent violence in Ciudad, Juarez Mexico. Perhaps the term "drug war" has been so greatly abused in America that people fail to realize there is a real drug war taking place no more than a stone's throw from the U.S. border with Mexico.

The rate of death from the drug war in Mexico absolutely smokes anything taking place in the Mideast, at least on the average day.

Lately, students have had loved ones attacked and normal back-and-forth family visitations disrupted in their binational community.
