Purdue Pharma owes it to this brave community of people fighting the OxyContin tsunami perpetrated by the pharmaceutical company.

(PORTSMOUTH, Ohio) - Portsmouth, Ohio Police building sign It recently came to my attention that the small community of Portsmouth, Ohio in Scioto County, Ohio is fighting crime and their prescription drug epidemic without a police headquarters facility.

It was closed down in 2010 due to an asbestos and black mold problem. The 40 officers of the Portsmouth Police Department are scattered in buildings throughout the town.

Maker of OxyContin Keeps Drug Flowing in Nova Scotia

They call their efforts "reducing the burden of chronic pain".

(MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.) - Oxycontin in Canada Purdue Pharma Canada (maker of OxyContin) made a "generous" donation to the QEII Pain Clinic in Halifax, Nova Scotia in the amount of $130,000. Their support of the treatment of chronic pain is because they claim one in five Nova Scotians suffer from chronic pain.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Attorney General and Assistant Attorney General testify before a Senate committee on the Gunrunner scandal. Salem-News.com revelations of Attorney General Eric Holder's knowledge about a federal gun smuggling ring - one that placed deadly weapons in the hands of already deadly Mexican drug cartels, has been making the rounds.

It might be the only story I know of that made the cut on FOX News and The Mike Malloy Show. That isn't easy to do.

Federal agents are not part of the suspected ring; in fact it was an ATF agent who blew the whistle on the 'Fast and Furious' gunrunning operation to Mexican cartels in the first place.

(CLEVELAND) - Service for Brian Terry The family of murdered Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry says they may seek justice by suing the federal government.

Terry family attorney Paul Charlton explains in a current FOX News article that Brian was killed in December 2010 at the hands of an illegal immigrant working for the Sinaloa Cartel while patrolling an area near Tucson known as Rio Rico.

Eric Holder gave false info. to a Congressional Committee about ATF operations tied to the deaths of two U.S. Agents: we have the proof.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and Special Agent Jaime Zapata from ICE New information indicates that U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder's actions are squarely behind the ATF operation known as "Fast and Furious", which orchestrated the delivery of almost 2,000 weapons to Mexican drug cartels.

Holder told a Congressional Committee last May that he had only known about the operation for a few weeks. Now we know he openly proclaimed his connection to the operation in April 2009 in a recorded speech in Mexico.
