Many will be wearing chains to symbolizing the fact that slavery still exist in the 21st century. Then at the end of the rally there will be a "Chain Breaking Ceremony."

Key Bank Robbed in Corvallis

(Corvallis, Oregon) - Robbery Investigation On Thursday at approximately 2:09 p.m. employees of Key Bank, located at 1817 NW 9th St, called to report and unknown male had just robbed their business. The suspect entered the front doors of the bank wearing a motorcycle helmet. He implied he had a weapon and demanded money. Bank employees complied with his demands and the suspect left the business with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect was last seen leaving the bank on foot, running toward Hwy 99W.

Woman`s Ashes Taken in Burglary Have Been Recovered

(Salem, Oregon) - Salem-News.com The ashes of a Salem woman taken in a burglary that occurred shortly after 4:00 PM Tuesday in the 2400 block of Trade St SE were recovered today when Salem Police detectives served a search warrant on a white 1986 Ford Pickup. The pickup had been impounded by police Tuesday shortly after 5:00 PM in the 1900 block of West Nob Hill St SE at the scene of another burglary.

Two Arrested Following Attempt to Elude in Stolen Vehicle East of Roseburg

(ROSEBURG, Ore.) - Michael Allen Davis and Minnette Maxine Spence Two suspects were arrested Monday evening after stealing a car in Roseburg and attempting to elude Douglas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) and Oregon State Police (OSP). The suspects' fleeing attempt ended after driving into an open barn in the Dixonville area where they were arrested.
