U.S. Coast Guard identifies MH-60 helicopter crew‏.

(SEATTLE) - The U.S. Coast Guard has identified the one survivor and three crew members who lost their lives, Wednesday, after their MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crashed in the waters off of James Island, near La Push, Wash.

Lt. Lance D. Leone, 29, of Ventura, Calif., survived the crash and is being treated at a Seattle hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He is married.

(TILLAMOOK, Ore.) - Oregon State Police, with the assistance of Tillamook County Medical Examiner and Tillamook County Sheriff's Office, are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a deceased male on a rocky section of beach near the base of a cliff in Cape Lookout State Park.

Search Launched for Missing Man in Rogue River

(ASTORIA, Ore.) - The Coast Guard, Curry County Sheriff's Department and Oregon State Police are searching for a man spotted near River Mile 8 in the Rogue River Friday.

Two witnesses reported seeing the man waving a shiny object while clinging to a log in the debris-choked river at approximately 2:30 p.m., according to a statement issued by the U.S. Coast Guard.

(ASTORIA, Ore.) - The Coast Guard is searching for two missing fishermen two miles south of Yachats, Oregon Thursday. 62-year old Bill Bodewig and 23-year old Nick Lutz, both from the local area, were reported missing late Wednesday night to the Lane County Sheriff’s Office.

An HH-65C Dolphin helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Facility Newport, Oregon, searched at first light and discovered a fishing pole and two backpacks in the area the fishermen were last reported.
