Burma Government Made Model Villages of Rohingya Lands

There are 50 such model villages in Rohingya Township with 200 families in each.

(RANGOON ) - Plight of the Stateless Rohingyas To implement its Human Barrier policy the government of Burma has taken a plan to establish Model Villages to populate the Rohingya majority areas of Arakan by the Rakhine and Buddhist people.

Model villages have been established in the confiscated lands of the Rohingya communities.

Humiliation and theft are everyday reminders of the Rohingya struggle.

The kid found it at a rural clinic where their mother received medical treatment.

He shut down all his windows and doors of his home for his family's safety, trying to avoid the attack. Unfortunately, the Rakhine terrorists entered his home jointly and strong armed Hlun Tin.

Burmese Authority Supplies Guns to Rakhine, Second Time in Northern Maungdaw

Rakhine can move and carry their activities openly as there are no barriers and attachments from government.

(RANGOON) - Burma Rohingya villagers The Burmese government supplies ten guns to each Rakhine village on 16 February 2013 in Northern Maungdaw.

The Arakan Liberation Party (ALP) and Rakhine National Development Party (RNDP) formed a youth group having a leader to every Rakhine village who are under training with gun and long swords to attack Rohingya at any time.

UN Envoy Concerned on Arakan Rights Abuses

The UN envoy said that he met many of the 120,000 internally displaced people during his visit to Sittwe, Myaybon and Pauk Taw. He expressed concern at the lack of medical care in the Muslim camps.

(DHAKA, Bangladesh) - Tomas Ojea Quintana, UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in Burma. The United Nations has raised concerns on Saturday that the unrest in Arakan could derail the entire reform process in Myanmar.

“Rakhine (Arakan) State is going through a profound crisis that threatens to spread to other parts of the country and has the potential to undermine the entire reform process in Myanmar”, said Tomas Ojea Quintana, UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in Burma.

Burma: More Lands Confiscated in Maungdaw South

Many Rohingyas have been starving from the shortage of food in Arakan State since June of last year.

(MAUNGDAW, Arakan State) - Rogingya land seized in Burma More than 150 acres of arable lands were recently confiscated from Rohingya Muslims in Burma by the government authority.

The land was given to Natala villagers in Maungdaw south, said a local farmer on condition of anonymity.
