Bicyclist Killed in Hwy 34 Crash

(CORVALLIS, Ore.) - fatal bicycle accident Based on witness statements, a bicyclist was riding on Hwy 34 approximately 6 miles west of Philomath. When, as the bike was turning east onto Decker Road, a Ford pickup tried to pass the bike and they collided.

Life saving measures were taken but the bicyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Fatality Following Bicycle vs Pickup Crash on Hwy 131

This accident took place between Netarts and Tillamook, on a road with no shoulders.

(TILLAMOOK, Ore. ) - bicycle fatality Oregon State Police (OSP) is continuing the investigation into Friday afternoon's crash involving a bicyclist and pickup on Highway 131 between Netarts and Tillamook.

OSP was notified this morning that the bicyclist died from injuries sustained in the crash early Monday morning at a Portland-area hospital. An enforcement decision is pending.

Vehicle vs. Bicyclist collision on NW Hill Road

The bicyclist was transferred to OHSU via Life Flight Network helicopter and is listed in serious condition.

(McMINNVILLE, Ore. ) - freighliner-trailer A bicycle collided with a Freighliner tractor/trailer today on a common thoroughfare in McMinnville, Oregon.

Bicyclist Richard Barrett, a 67 year old resident of Corvallis, Oregon, was riding a bicycle southbound on the west shoulder of NW Hill Road. 33-year old Kasey Kauer, from Amity, was also southbound on NW Hill Road operating a 1993 Freightliner tractor pulling a low-boy trailer with an agricultural spray rig secured to the deck.
