Amber Alert Issued in Washington for Missing Baby

Oregon residents should be on the lookout for a Green '94 Plymouth Voyager minivan with Wa. plate 270SVS.

(SEATTLE) - Amber Alert An Amber Alert has been issued in the state of Washington for an infant that may have been kidnapped by his mother.

Police say the baby was scheduled for surgery, and taken from Children's Hospital in Seattle Washington, Thursday just before 6:00 AM.

The Seattle Police Department say the missing child is Riley Rogers, a nine-month old white male, with Blonde hair, measuring 1'6". 14 pounds, with curly hair, wearing a white `t` shirt over a diaper.

Amber Alert Lifted

Police were looking for a yellow VW Beetle with temporary tags, but after hundreds of calls and no report of a missing girl, the alert was called off.

(VANCOUVER, WA) - amber alert map An Amber Alert has been issued in the state of Washington and surrounding areas for a 10-year old girl who was abducted about 2:45 PM this afternoon in Vancouver, WA. A male suspect grabbed the little girl off of a magenta colored bicycle and forced her into a newer yellow Volkswagen beetle. He was seen by a witness as he got the little girl`s attention, spoke to her from his car, and then pulled her inside as he sped away through a red light.

The 10-year old Caucasian girl has long blonde hair, in a ponytail, is about 70 pounds and 4`5` tall. She is wearing blue spandex pants and a tie-dyed t-shirt. The little girl`s name is not known at this time.

State Trooper Locates Lost 5-Year Old Kindergartener South of Amity

Amity's Superintendent told OSP that he will fully investigate the incident and put procedures into place to prevent this from happening again in the future.

(AMITY) - Oregon State Police badge An Oregon State Police trooper found a lost Amity Elementary kindergarten boy on Highway 99W about one mile south of Amity Wednesday afternoon. The boy reportedly was trying to walk home after being dropped off at the middle school where it was believed he was to be picked up by a relative.
