Amber Alert Issued in Washington for Missing Baby

(SEATTLE) - An Amber Alert has been issued in the state of Washington for an infant that may have been kidnapped by his mother.

Police say the baby was scheduled for surgery, and taken from Children's Hospital in Seattle Washington, Thursday just before 6:00 AM.

The Seattle Police Department say the missing child is Riley Rogers, a nine-month old white male, with Blonde hair, measuring 1'6". 14 pounds, with curly hair, wearing a white �t` shirt over a diaper.

Detectives say Tina Carlsen abducted her nine month old son Riley Rogers in Child Protective custody where he was scheduled to have surgery. He needs immediate medical attention. Have child taken immediately to a hospital.

The suspect in the abduction is Tina Carlsen, who is described as a 35 year old female, Caucasion with blonde hair. Her weight is approximately 140 pounds.

She was wearing a pony tail, and is described as stocky. She is also known as Tina Marie Chiu. Investigators say she was wearing a �t` shirt and blue jeans.

Her vehicle is a Green 1994 Plymouth Voyager Station Wagon Washington license plate 270SVS.
