I have pity for anyone who would do something like this.

(SALEM) - Salem-News.com logo Right-wing stalwart Pamela Geller has released this revolting clip of men reported to be Taliban, picking up, and then playing soccer, with decapitated heads. Maybe if Pashtun country hadn't been divided in half in the 1920's by the British Maginot Line, which divided the historic Pashtun people, who are the basis for the Taliban today....

Why Did the Army Refuse to Aid Fallen Marines at Ganjgal? (VIDEO)

Never before in American history were U.S. troops intentionally sent on a mission where their "brother" Americans refused to help, allowing them to simply die.

(SALEM) - U.S. soldiers standing outside of the TOC at Camp Joyce in Afghanistan. As a team of Marines were killed at Ganjgal village in 2009, U.S. Army commanders made a conscious decision to leave them to die. This is a stone cold documented fact. They could have been aided and their deaths avoided, but they were left to die.

As the Marine Lieutenant in charge of the team made his final call to the army for artillery and air support, he told the officers he was about to die. The army staff at nearby Camp Joyce replied, "Try Your Best".

A review of all the Obama broken campaign promises, would take an entire separate article.

(JAMESTOWN, RI) - Obama Many voted for and supported the Obama candidacy because it was thought he offered a new refreshing view of society, and were highly encouraged by his campaign promises, but at this point must admit, they have been “had” by a con-man in an empty suit.

It is no longer possible to support his presidency or his party, for he and the Democratic Party have abandoned long held Democratic Party values and sold out to corporations.

Open Our Eyes

A golden rule for all of us: welcome every idea, however strange it seems, as long as it doesn’t claim to be the absolute good, and as long as it doesn’t refuse differences, and let go of every idea that shuts the door for creation and progress.

(KABUL) - Sherif and I in Cairo, 2006 While catching up with each other over the challenges facing ordinary Afghans and Egyptians, Sherif Sameer and I talked about how ‘opening our eyes’ could go a long way toward building a better world. We decided to co-write this piece, from Ismailia, Egypt and Kabul, Afghanistan.
