(MONMOUTH, Ore.) - The Western Oregon softball team did its part to partially break up the log jam atop the Great Northwest Athletic Conference standings, claiming a pair of 7-2 and 6-1 victories over Montana State Billings on Friday afternoon at the WOU Softball Field.
In the first game, both teams traded runs in the first inning as Trina Dorn singled home Tyler Sutherland for WOU and Leslie Davis knocked in Shay Oberg for the Yellowjackets.

(MONMOUTH, Ore. ) - Western Oregon used lots of offense in game one and the pitching of Mike Ward in the nightcap to claim 10-7 and 2-0 victories over Northwest Nazarene on Friday afternoon at the WOU Baseball Field.
In the first game, Western Oregon scored all the runs that they would need in the first three innings, striking for four in the first, three in the second and two more in the third.

Groin, back and shoulder injuries limited McNair to six games in 2007, where he threw just two touchdown passes while losing seven fumbles and throwing four interceptions as the Ravens struggled to a 5-11 record.
